I am low volume. By low volume I mean I see one person per day. Morning of the appointment my date cancels on me. I have already used up my once a week post on the ter board. So,  as not to sit here by myself all day,  I post on BP. Keeping in mind that BP for me is a sure thing. Once I post,  I am doing the horizontal mambo within the hour. I also pay to use bp. So, why do people think bp girls are nasty or less than? I am sure some are. But,  I've met a few ter gals that are gross to say  the least. Ok nuff said    ttfn

I have to agree with you whole heartedly. I'm also extremely low volume and I like BP, I can pick and choose from a variety of clients.  These are clients that match my preferences and are more interested in the niche offerings that I provide than the typical GFE gal. I also don't deal with as much of the cancellation, double booking issue. If I have a cancellation, I am guaranteed another appointment to replace it if I choose.  I also don't have to deal with certain other aspects I don't wish to.

There are undesirable clients and providers in every format and advertising venue out there. I've met some that horrified me and I'm not very spleeny. I am however extremely hygienic and not a party gal so there you go.  

There is good and bad in everything, take what you need and leave the rest.

I was trying to point out that using BP alone as a search is a gamble. It's a fact that there are way more fake ads and pictures we can count not to mention any ads that might be posted by le. A better approach if using BP for a search is to then go back to TER to see if the provider is exists, is legit and has valid reviews. I personally have seen several ladies from BP ads, with wonderful outcomes, but I only saw them after doing my due diligence on TER.

I do agreed with iLuvto69 in some point, it is a gamble.  Not sure if you gentlemen can do this, but since you are a member of TER, don't you have access to do a search of ladies in the locations and contact them privately that way?  I am a low profile too, and I don't care for BP, but I will use it if I need to, but I also know the trick of LE do on BP and EROS.  They use both of them for Prostitution Stings as well.  I also do a lot of reading and searching about the stings too.

I think you are spot-on... for the most part! It is all about the hobbyist doing their research.

I know a large number of reputable providers like yourself who post on Backpage to remedy the exact problem that you describe. Backpage, in that case, can be a great resource for guys looking for a new friend.

However, there is also a significant group of ladies who use Backpage to essentially defraud guys looking for a session. This "defrauding" can range from the bait-and-switch (using fake or very old pictures) to having a guy hide in the bathroom or closet or something and jump out once the guy places his donation down, basically chasing the hobbyist from the room before the session even begins. These girls seem to always be changing their names to stay a step away from the RipOffReport and other blacklisting sites as well as TER's Rip-Offs section and bad reviews.  

I have only been involved in this industry for 5 months, so my perspective is limited -- and I probably am not telling anybody anything they don't already know -- but Backpage can be a great resource so long as the client does his research on TER, P-411, and other sites before contacting the provider in question to set up an appointment

Agree, BP can be a useful tool.  When I've used it, not often in Boston though, many of the gentlemen contacting me are TER members.

Gentlemen need to remember TER is a review board, as P411 is a verification board.  You can't assume either of these should be the sole locations to place our location and availability.

Just do your research and prepare to give references/verification information.
