Ironically, last time I visited this guy's house, I spent a bunch of time talking to him about the use of review sites to AVOID just this sort of thing! I looked online and this girl seems to have pulled pretty much all of her ads... He said that she got to his house, but didn't park in the driveway... Came in, tried to upsell, when he refused to give her more money, she left with $200. He did not try to stop her as she ran down his stairs, but STILL ended up with her pimp/driver/WHATEVER in his front yard! I'm now going to visit this guy MYSELF later this evening... I'm making this post to alert anyone else who may have sceduled to have this girl come over tonight... They will undoubtably get rid of this number soon, but consider this a heads-up for tonight!

One would question the wisdom behind inviting a stranger off of CL to one's home to begin with. Then one needs to question what kind of individual would not take measures to defend themselves in their own home. All in all, it would seem that whoever this client is they lack both intelligence as well as backbone.

What's more, if you've already counseled him to join boards like this and he has refused, then he only gets what he deserved. Unfortunate as it may be, a fool and their money are soon parted. This situation is a prime example. I'll bet he also purchases used cars without a carfax too.

Wow - I hate to hear stories like this! Clients def have to be careful as much as us providers do.
Hate to see people get ripped off though! I once had a client fly someone from nyc to miami for the weekend and she met him at the hotel, took the envelope of cash, went into the bathroom and snuck out to never be seen again

You client did the right thing...  if he had held her against her will, he could have been charged with illegal restraint or kidnapping (depending on your state).
It galls me but one needs to let a runner RUN, and then lock the door behind them & thank his lucky stars they're out of his house!  
Clients who've been scammed become believers in review sites & are why we recommend "Well reviewed providers".  
I seriously suggest that your client not invite new ladies to his home...  she knows far mopre about him than he does her...
