The squeeze that the cops have been putting up are on the fly-by-night women who are just as much into party favors as they are services, usually in less than 2 star hotels in the not-so-great parts of town.  That being said, the town is almost empty of regular, well-reviewed providers - many of the BP ads have been fakes or fit into the category above.  Ergo, I would recommend keeping your eye out on here and other boards for visiting, reviewed providers, as that will be your safest bet.  There are quite a few who visit Vermont.

Of course, if you have your Enhanced ID, there is always Montreal, a hobbyists heaven.  Two hour drive, but I have been told it is well worth the trip.
