I remember Chesterfield being clean, nice, newer and upscale.  Is that still the case?  So many places have changed in the past few years, some for the better, some not so good. Should I look for a new favorite town to stay or am I still safe there?

I occasionally see providers there.

Another area along I70 just over the river in St Charles County across from ameristar casino is newer and nice too.
