Last time I had a blast, but found a lot of people didn't want to drive downtown. Love the nightlife down there and prefer to stay down there, but maybe there's a more convenient spot? You can PM me.  

I found both of these best. Yes I found no one liked downtown either.

So solving for that issue, I'd say staying closer to the plaza and Westport is your best bet. If you pick the Marriott or something else close to main then you've got easy access to downtown if you want to go hit power and light or something.
