It's been a long while since I did a road trip to KC, but I remember well all the billboards for what seemed like dozens of adult stores along I-70.    

Part of my plan was to stop at a couple along my way between STL and KC yesterday..... but I only saw ONE SIGN.  And then when I exited there was construction blocking the road and I couldn't find it!  

So.... are the stores gone or just the signs?  Did the shops themselves, like many brick-and-mortar businesses, close down due to internet competition?  

I'll be driving back to Chicago on Saturday and would love to stop off for some adult-toy shopping if someone can tell me where these fun places are!
