There were three people that went the extra mile & as promised this month I am paying it forward in their honor.
Now through October 31st I will be offering an additional 30 minutes for all VIP/GFE appointments. I am then donating $25 of each VIP/GFE appointment evenly to the three favorite charities of those very kind & generous people.
Operation Smile.
Operation Smile is an international medical charity whose global network of thousands of credentialed medical volunteers from over 80 countries is committed to helping improve the health and lives of children from more than 60 countries. Since 1982, they've worked with local medical professionals, governments, hospitals and other NGOs to deliver the safest care to each of their patients, and have established care centers wherever possible to give children ongoing medical treatment. Operation Smile continues to provide training and education for local medical professionals so they can provide care within their own communities and share their expertise. To date, they have provided more than 220,000 free surgeries for children born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities.
Planned Parenthood
They are a trusted health care provider, an informed educator, a passionate advocate, and a global partner helping similar organizations around the world. Planned Parenthood delivers vital reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of women, men, and young people worldwide.
For nearly 100 years, Planned Parenthood has promoted a commonsense approach to women’s health and well-being, based on respect for each individual’s right to make informed, independent decisions about health, sex, and family planning.
Tubman Chrysalis Center
Tubman is a multi-service agency with almost 40 years of experience serving individuals and families, formed from the merger of Chrysalis, A Center for Women, founded in 1974; Harriet Tubman Center, founded in 1976; and Family Violence Network, founded in 1982. In July 2011, ElderCare Rights Alliance (ECRA), a statewide organization founded in 1972, merged with Tubman. As one unified organization, Tubman offers a continuum of healing and recovery to individuals and families struggling with domestic violence, substance abuse, mental illness and maintaining independence.
Tubman has an extensive network of partnerships with both public and private nonprofit agencies and institutions. In addition, it has referral relationships with scores of governmental and nonprofit agencies, law enforcement agencies, legal service providers, crisis lines, landlords, employers, educational providers, healthcare organizations, faith communities, cultural groups and others who refer individuals to Tubman or who provide services and counsel to participants.
