I want to Sincerely THANK all who took the time to send me their ideas for my last name.  169 emails were sent……  and I’m not making that number up either, I swear…..  
probably around 1000 ideas.    

Wow, many were MARVELOUS……..and several came “close”.  

The name Most submitted was……  Carrera.     And many name ideas that made reference to Shakespeare’s’ Merchant of Venice……  All very nice, but not quite what I had in mind.  
Oh yes, and many suggested Moon, as one of the moons of Uranus is……  yes, you guessed it, named Portia.  Lol    um, could not “go to there”.    
Oh, and Did you Know there is a spider named Portia?  I didn’t either, but I do now!
