This year I am supporting two amazing causes. Toys for tots & Baskets of Hope. In exchange for your generosity & compassion for families in need this holiday season I am offering $75 off ANY appointment when you bring along a contribution.  
   
Most of you are already familiar with Toys for tots & the amazing job they do every year supplying families with that special gift under the tree to brighten a child's Christmas morning. But what makes the holidays complete is the unity that special meal brings to families across the globe.    
   
 A celebratory holiday meal can provide a sense of normalcy, even in the worst of times. The Baskets of Hope program allows families facing hunger the opportunity to gather around the table and enjoy a holiday as a family, with a full meal including a turkey plus all the fixings for a family of 8.  
   
Each year their goal is to provide 5,000 families with holiday meals. Both at Thanksgiving & Christmas. That’s approximately 35,000 members of hungry families. The cost of a single holiday meal is $25 to cover food, warehousing, packaging, and distribution.    
   
Suggestions:  
   
Unwrapped toys, books, Cds, DVDs, electronics for ages 0-18  
Clothing. Especially winter attire to keep our kiddies warm at the bus stop.  
Turkeys, hams  
Frozen veggies, desserts & breads  
Canned veggies, potatoes, yams, gravy (no glass containers please)  
Dried potatoes, stuffing, rice, eggs, milk  
Flour, sugar, brn sugar  
Gift cards for any store including grocery stores  
   
Together we can brighten up the holidays for a family less fortunate.
