It cuts thru the oil and doesn't leave a soap film.

Just wondering...I always ask if a client prefers scented or non-scented oils when I give a massage, but  what brand of bar soap do you prefer to use after a massage (gotta get that oil washed off, which is so nice to use during a massage...slippery when wet)?

Is it a good idea for clients to bring their own soap (if they prefer to use one), or to use no soap at all when showering after a massage session?

Or, what the best brand of bar soap/body wash to have on hand for my clients to use before heading back to the office or home.

Thank you for your input.

I like the non-scented oil.  Not for "cover up" puposes, but just because I prefer it.  Most of the scented products don't smell to me like the bottle says they smell anyway, so the experience and expense are somewhat wasted on me.  It is much like perfumes and colognes; most smell like nothing more than chemicals to me with the rare exception that might be called "Spring Breeze" or something but should be named "Justifiable Rape" and sold under a doctor's prescription.  However, those are few and far between.

As to the soap / body wash question, I have no preference at all, except maybe not too much scent for the same reason as the oil issue above. I mostly like it when soap smells like soap.  Related to the above, the best, most arousing, scent on a woman (in my opinion) is showered and clean.  No perfume on earth has more appeal than that.

Cheapest for you is probably the route I would suggest.

when recieving or give a massage, it makes for a much better smooth stroke (thats what she said).  Sented or unscented...I guess that is really up to the customer as some have both airborne and skin allergies.

For soap, I would think if a lady kept Ivory or Irish spring they would have good options for most men.  Off the top of my head I can not think of an unscented soap.

I much prefer unscented oil.
Ivory soap has the least lingering smell.

I prefer unscented oils and soaps because then I can be assured that they won't irritate my skin - cause bumps or rashes.

I guess it'd be smartest to bring one's own soap, if that were a concern. Failing that, Dove has an unscented soap that isn't bad.

My preference is simply baby oil. Unscented is best for removing all traces of suspicion by a SO.  However, with regard to soap, safest way to provide something would be unscented non-allergenic type.  Now if someone would come out with a scent called Wet Pussy or Beaver Butter, that would be my favorite.

It is more sanitary than a bar.
I think a varitey is good. But I will always opt for liquid than a bar for the multiple user factor!

Great question Alantra!

I keep a basket of men's toiletries on hand.  I keep it stocked with both unscented and scented varieties of the travel size bars of soap and liquid soaps, shampoos, mouthwash, wipes, and even SHOUT! wipes should he spill his Starbucks on his way up!!   A variety allows the gent to choose something to his liking!

Great question, Alantra!  You obviously care about your gentlemen friends!  Excellent!!!

Hugs, Belinda

I like Belinda's idea (two heads are better than one, I guess!!)

Looks like having a variety is the way to go, the choice will be yours.  Liquid seems to make the most sense, for cleanliness' sake, though.  Right now, I have a Sponge Bob foaming pump soap (thought it was funny), but the scent is too fruity.

Ivory, Dial, Irish Spring, Zest, or any unscented brand (except if I find one that is labeled "wet pussy", I'll be sure to snatch that one up, Fast!!) will be offered to you when you come to get a "rub down"...
