Would love some 411 on the must see/do/eat. I am rather excited to venture outside of New England for a change of pace. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated. xxx Erin
anctuary, Piccolo and Tilllia . If you like Mexican, Maya on central ave. For chinese food, Asian taste or Rainbow Chinese. Japanese; Moto-i or Origami Butcher & the boar has great cocktails, menu is "OK" its just pretty in there. Dancing ganesha has awesome Indian food but do not dine in the service truly sucks. Also, try The Bird in Loring.
This Butcher and Boar sounds very interesting. I am a sous chef in real life and unfortunately I have become a food snob over the years. I have actually been in contact with the producers of Die and for reasons I won't put out here I won't eat at any place based on what Guy saya. LOL I have in the past though. I am definitely a fan of the cow so I will check out Manny's for sure. I won't eat seafood there. You don't have an ocean the last time I checked. Lol The black sheep...what kind of pizza? Greek? Italian? I like both...I am just curious. 😉 This will be a huge help. Tyvm

I think that Butcher and Boar is must see.
If you like Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, you should try the Nook in St. Paul, it was the first restaurant they featured.
I won't eat sea food out here either..... There are some great places to eat here in the Cities. Having gone to school in Boston I find the Cities and Boston have a very similar vibe.
Yeah.... I've tried both and I just can't seem to acquire a taste for either. I guess I'm kind of a sea food snob, my dad and all of my brothers are commercial fisherman back in Maine. Nothing like fresh cod, halibut or lobster for that matter!
I know right ? Impossible to compare the two, can't beat fresh seafood like that . I do like ice fishing though I haven't caught anything the times I've gone .
Black Sheep pizza has coal fired pizza ovens. They describe themselves as gourmet pizza. They do have some unique pizzas or you can just have ingredients you can ad ala carte.
If you want the cow at Manny's you'd be wise to have a reservation for a table. I believe you can get service at the bar.
I agree with the seafood statement, I'm also a free wandering sous chef in real life so unless I go to coastal seafoods or I know the vendor they got it from, I'm not touching it here . I like Butcher & The Boar's patio and interior decor . Beautiful example of repurposed goods. They have a bartender there who looks like Richard Gere lol !
