There is nothing wrong with posting mini-reviews on this board, as long as they are folowed up with full reviews and MDL was certainly faithful in that!
Hes was moderated for TMI in one particluar mini-review by the Queen the moderated status. Actually, she had let the post slide until someone BROUGHT UP the minor infraction and pointed it out! I have let simular mini-reviews slide or just taken out the unacceptable words on a few occations.
It was the things MDL did in in response AFTER being moderated that caused his banishment,(which included him requesting all his reviews to be removed) It was not the mini-review or anything GND did that caused Staff to take it to that next level. (I can't believe I just stuck up for GND! Am I feeling ok?)
The path of us righteous customers is beset on all sides by the inequities of the providers services and the tyranny of evil vice cops. Blessed is MDL who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds us customers through the valley of the providers. For he is truly his fellow hobbytist keeper and the finder of lost newbies. And MDL will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to rip-off and arrest his fellow hobbiests. And you will know his name is the godfather when he lays his vengeful posts upon you.
Nice that you want to make a tribute to someone who was an asset here, although, seriously man, you must have A LOT of free time....
BTW...I see that everyone seems to have MDL on the mind lately. From what I understand, he was "banned" for posting a mini-review? Is that right? How frikken goofy is it when you get banned from a hooker-review website???? LOL
Unless there's something else going on, I think there should be a effort to get the guy back. His posts helped me a lot, and I'm sure others too.

That's what everyone has publicly stated, is that he was banned for posting a mini-review on the board. I don't believe that is the real reason - across all the TER boards, how many mini-reviews can you go find right now. How many of those aliases have been banned. Sometimes you gotta be careful about who's turf you decide to play on.
His insight was invaluable and guided me to some good times. MDL and a whole cadre of individuals that are no longer here, provided great, trustworthy insight. Now its awfully hard to weed through all the bull of who's actually worth seeing and who isn't.
I agree with Bananajoe...why would someone be banned for posting a mini review??? That doesn't add up. MDL was very reliable and always told the truth. Many guys used his wisdom to their benefit. He is sorely missed and this board is not the same without him.
that he is taking a break from the drama. He can post at anytime if he wishes as it is not a big deal to get a different handle.
Just to clarify the story of the demise of MDL. He was moderated for his mini reviews by GND, when she was our dominatrix...LOL!! Then in his quest to get back on the board he pissed off TER enough to get his butt banned from the board...as the story goes...

From my office window, it looks more like MDL got baned more for not getting along with a certan provider (wich is not Ben!) and his actions on the other board than it does with the "mini Review". If you really look at it, It maybee a little more detailed the our old point man reports, but not very different. I do have to say, this board lost a lot of what I pay for the membership for. It would be in everyone's best interest's (well, except maybee one provider's) if he came back.

The provider I assume you mean wasn't even active on the board at the time of MDL's fall from grace.... and had no input what-so-ever to his fate. He actually was having far bigger problems with Jenny (or whichever of her 10 names you want to call her) here on a local level and Mental Mathews on a national level, both of which were also banned from TER.
I arrived on the scene as mod too late to fix the damage done to MDL, alot of which was self-inflicted..... I openly admit however, that I miss his input on this board too! (Ben's $.02)
Thier is no need to get all wound up thier Ben. I in no way ment to implicate you with MDL being banned. Like I say, I also know you and Misty are different people. Thier is alot that most of us probably don't know about the whole subject. From where I'm sitting, this is what I know. MDL posts one mini review after haveing major problems with both Misty and Jenny A.K.A. a whole lot of other names. Who even know's who she really was. MDL gets Moded, and goes off on the "other board". MDL gets banned. Misty gets un-banned. That is all most of us on here knows about. If you can fill in the blanks, it would be really appreciated. MDL was the most helpfull person I have run into on here. I would kino of like to know why we lost such a good resource. Again everyone, Ben could not have done this. He was not a moderaitor at that point in time. And once and for all, is not Misty.
Misty was never banned. I have heard people reference that Turk told them she was, but I have never seen a thread that says that and no searches that I do ever come up with anything to support that, also I have access to the list of banned/de-listed providers and she is not and never was on that list. So the part about Misty getting "unbanned" is based on a false rumor.
Also, when I look into the history surrounding MDL getting banned, I only see Jenny and Alex M. involved in the scat-toss, I don't see Misty posting there. I am aware Misty and MDL had plenty of past issues, but completely isolated from MDL loosing his rights to post here. I'm only trying to clarify that this is all unrelated stuff and shouldn't be lumped together in a cause and effect fallacy......
(BTW, I'm not "wound up", and rarely am, I just come off that way when I write)
So, I got your attention on this subject. First, I want to say is that I know for a fact that even if he were welcomed back to this site… he would not come back! I know this because he told me this morning.
I think that he was banned for more than just a mini review. I know that he tried to get some answers from the staff about the whole thing, but he did not get much of a response from the staff.
There is much more to the story/events to this whole situation than most of the posters know about…even BD does not know the whole truth. This is the main reason why the sudden drop of past posters
If I decided to tell everybody more about this whole story, you might understand more about some of the reasons in the posts this fall.

BD...not to stir the pot of trouble. But I also know a lot more details as to the demise of MDL. It was not due to you or GND, although she is the one that started the whole process that led to the melt down.
You did touch lightly on the REAL reason he was banned. MDL was not one to take crap from anyone and had no issues standing up for what he thought was right. He may not have always been right but the general consenses seems to feel he did provide a lot of useful information regarding providers, ones to see and even more important ones to stay away from...or to use one of his phrases (?) give a wide berth.
Bottom line is that the higher powers to be, and we all know who that is, did not like his style or the following he had. You could even go as far as to call it his status on the boards. Not just locally but nationally.
So you do the math and come to your own conclusions as to what really happened. Banned because of a mini review...not a chance! We all have losted a great resource in this hobby and we have to work twice as hard to weed through the BS providers because of it.
I do know both sides of this, agree with most of what you said. I do know that it was niether his "style or following" that brought him down though. It was more his "post-moderation" behavior that brought this about. Some of you may mot realize or remember that I also was banned for about a week during that time of "civil unrest"....... Unfortunely he was a casualty of the up-rising.
Things just got way out of control here I just thank my lucky stars that I was not a casualty as well.

I been reading his posts/reviews for years. And if you ever read any, it meant you'll get some good ass. I never gave much thought what they meant. I just thought it was some cool shit to read about a motherfucker after he popped his dick in her ass. I read some shit this mornin' made me think twice. See now I'm thinkin', maybe it means MDL is the evil man. And I'm the righteous man. And Mr. TER here, he's the shepherd protecting my righteous ass in the valley of providers. Or it could mean you're the righteous man and MDL is the shepherd and it's TER that's evil and selfish. Now I'd like that. But that shit ain't the truth. The truth is we are all the weak. And ripoffs and LE are the tyranny of evil men. But I'm tryin', Ringo. I'm tryin' real hard to get MDL to be our shepherd again.
I'm rather relaxed when it comes to foul language on the board,(MUCH more relaxed than the TER guidelines call for me to be) But I ask you to limit it to purposeful, or expressive language and rare in it's use. Please don't make it your general writing style to express yourself this way......

As a lurker for about a year, I've been debating whether or not to get a paid membership... I'll sign up the first day I see MDL posting again. IMHO - TER could at least offer an olive branch… water under the bridge, etc.
Numerous hobbyist post first-rate information, but regardless of accuracy, the value of any information is proportional to the reputability of its source. MDL's reputation was unequalled.
To anyone in contact with MDL, please convey my best wishes and my desire as to see him back on the board. Life is to short to hold grudges, let’s remember what’s important: PUSSY!
