DULUTH..... SNOW????

Snow in October!!! I seen the weather... Post a pic or two!!! Let's see how many people slide down that road construction.... There are still out-of-towners up there... That is dangerous in fair weather, I would hate to be up there tonight...

Halloween 91

You should have seen the Halloween storm in 91. Duluth received 36 inches of snow Halloween night.

Yes Leah, as I peek past the walrus skin covering my igloo door, I see the out-of-towners struggling to reach the train station without being picked off by marauding Polar Bears. It's a sad sight. Still wearing flip flops, they cling to tattered beach umbrellas as they trudge through the snow.

I was in college when that hit, the whole city was shut down for days. It was a hell of a fun time jumping off the roof of vermillion hall into the snow piles though.

If memory serves me, we had several inches of snow mid-oct last year in central MN!

Late start this year!! I love the white crisp snow but not the cold!

Yep, a lot of them are ending up down here. Got some camped out on the grass; they looked mighty chilly what with the morning frost and the cold rain. I gave them some hot chocolate. They wanted to crash on the couch but that was just asking too much. It's not like any of them were hotties.
