END OF MESSAGE

Lately, I have noticed a slew of providers who have been happy to tout their 'special' on the ad board. Several of these providers have not spelled out what is 'special' about their offerings, or have suggested that what they are offering is special because they're bringing a friend.

FWIW, for me, a special is an opportunity to see you at a reduced rate, or for a shorter time than you typically offer (ex 30 min).

Plz, ladies, if you want to offer a 'special', spell it out, and explain the discount.  Thanks!

That is all.

An unspecified "special" is simply an invitation to contact the provider, who can then make a judgment of just how "special" she wants to be.  I've suspected that if, for example, a regular is calling and the provider can be pretty sure of getting the business, she can offer a modest discount.  If it's someone she's seen occasionally, she might offer a larger discount.

Specials should be specifically spelled out and applicable equally to all
