When you see an ad by a girl with one name, then doing some 'research' you see she has gone by a different name just a few months earlier, (and there is no review here) would people consider this a red flag? I know there are a lot of scams and worse, and some are just plain bad.

Girl I am referring to has posted several ads on Backpages the past couple of days. I was reading the thread below about ads that use fake picts and so for giggles was going through seeing just how many would return hits at Tin Eye. The picture itself turned up nothing, but the picture itself was used by a completely different girl (name and number) prior. Now this new one has a phone number that has ads up earlier this summer. Some of the ads even link to one of those scam dating sites Fling.

It should be a "yellow flag"... meaning to do more research!!! I know that I personally, due to previous agencies, etc. have had to change my name a few times! Now, I think that if a girl steadily does it... or other things... then yes, it should be a red flag! But, when the girl HAS to change it due to the agency that she was(is) with telling her to change it... that shouldn't be a red flag! The girl can't help it if she was told by her agency to change it to a name that is more "appealing"! ;-) Just my two cents! Thanks!

Quite possibly a pimp simply recycling a batch of photos.  Or it could simply be some girl who has cut an paste photos from another ad.  Could be one of a dozen different scenarios, none of which are good. You definitely move on when you run into ad linking to the Fling site.

Probably not even the same girl.  Someone just stealing the photos.  It would have been better if the OP had included a link in his post though.

I don't think she is with an 'agency'. I didn't know if I should post this all here, but here is the ad that I saw the other day - http://minneapolis.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts/e-x-o-t-i-c-andhearts-andhearts-a-n-n-a-22/5995150

Search of the phone number turns up this - http://www.naughtyreviews.com/adult-services-classified-local/usa/mn/minneapolis/w4m/60-r-o-s-e-s-s-p-e-c-i-a-l-612-385-3223-w4m-23, but even odder still is this one which has the link to Fling -http://eroticmugshots.com/stpaul-escorts/612-385-3223/?pid=5802596

Lastly do a search of the picture name lolotlo1.jpg turns up both the original post and another for "Veronica" - http://minneapolis.backpage.com/BodyRubs/h-o-t-t-o-u-c-h-23/6046379

So after looking at this the yellow flag is turning quite orange with a tint of red. Too bad because in the one photo she is really attractive.

It's not automatically trouble but there are many ways in which coming across this is a sign of a scam or someone trying to avoid a bad reputation attached to the earlier name.  You have to keep digging and asking questions and see where the data leads to.
