If a provider has no reviews, do you automatically skip over her?

Unless I have a recommendation from someone I trust,
yes I do skip.

Just wondering. I have been a provider for about 3 years now. I have never asked anyone to write a review, some men I have seen said they were going to but apparently never got around to it. I am at the point now where I would like some reviews, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Should I just ask the client if he has ever written a review and if he would like to write one for me?

I won't skip over her but I will watch the add for a period of time to see if the person is "real".  I also like non-professional photos.  They can be artistic but not too "nice".  Then if I decide to take the plunge I will look for a 1/2 hour date at a reasonable price point.  That way if the session isn't all that great I'm not out much coin.    As for asking for reviews you should use a fairly soft sell.  Let your client know that you would appreciate it but do not suggest anything that would imply paying for a review (i.e. discount price, freebe, etc) as that would be against TER's terms of service.

Yes. No reviews no playtime

I think it's fine to ask if they would write a review.  (Assuming they enjoyed their time with you).
I don't always write reviews.  I see some providers in smaller cities and I'm not sure how much publicity a lady may want.  But I will write one if she ask me.

Until a provider gets established, it's going to be tough. And if she gets the wrong kind of review, that's not good either.

Most hobbyists have to face the fact of rip-offs and LE. No reviews = higher risk.

I appreciate it. I'm going to start mentioning reviews to my clients and hopefully someone will be willing to do it. Thanks again!

I've seen plenty of girls with no reviews and in many cases provided their first review.  For someone to have a review someone has to be willing to take the leap.  I've been fortunate and lucky thus far that none have been ripoffs or LE.  If someone interests me, I might do other homework like tineye, checking phone numbers, etc.  Talk to them on the phone, are they trying to get me to say too much, am I getting a good vibe, those kinds of things.

It's a lot harder to determine how legit a provider is if she has no reviews and most of the time I don't want spent the extra time needed to figure it out.  Not always though; if the ad is sufficiently intriguing I may try.  Of course, if it goes as badly as my last effort did then I am probably going to wait a good while before trying again.

unless the lady has reviews or is personally recommended by a known active hobbyist...will pass in a heartbeat

I agree, personally is not a disqualifying count but makes it more of a chore from my end as I have to do more digging around, no tineye hits is always a plus and no frequent name changes are good. Also not finding the same pictures under a different provider ad for other cities is a good sign. I have seen a few ladies that are UTR and do not want reviews that's why I ask if it's ok before I write them for someone that doesn't have them.

Agree I would skip over non reviewed providers.  Posting on the board should get some interest from guys are likely to write reviews a link to an ad would also be benifical.

So....none of you guys have been a 1st reviewer for an unreviewed girl?

I've been the first to review for plenty, and would be plenty more if not for the girls.  I will respect a girls wishes to not be reviewed as long as she held up her end.  If she upsold me or something that really left a bad taste in my mouth, I would review regardless.

Yes I have seen ladies that didn't have reviews, but I was cautious, verified by other means, and was reasonably sure she was a not going to cause any issues (legal or other).

I also stay clear of "backpage"!  Many providers use this site, but it is also full of ads that are bad news for hobbyist.

And I might be again sometime.  But it requires a more caution and research before doing that.

But I do a lot of research before even making that first call. Maybe look through 50 ads or so beforehand, and I can spot an agency/bullshit ad a mile away. I've managed to learn from previous mistakes. Once I find an ad I like, I give a call and ask some basic (discreet) questions, prefacing it by saying "I'm not really looking for company tonight, but..." . '

Not to waste her time, but to gauge her attitude. I always ask first , Hey are you busy , do you have a few minutes? Then, if she seems real and genuine, I call her back later. Maybe in 5 minutes. Maybe in 2-3 days. Maybe never if I get a rude 'tude or a 'call me when you're ready- (click)'.

I generally ask basic things - rates, any reviews and so on. In the span of a 2-minute convo I can usally tell if she's for real and if she will be fun ;)

One of the reasons girls say "call when you're ready "
means that we have a limited window of time to work and don't have all day to talk to you.
In that case
Just calling to talk and not booking IS really wasting someone's time.
Just sayin...

I for one have a few reviews elsewhere (not here and I don't want them) and a small window to talk on the phone .
But I at least say call back when you're ready to schedule and say good day as well not just hang up abruptly .
If someone doesn't know by now that I'm for real and legit then they need help.
