1. Twincitiesguy have you seen angel again or has anyone else I've tried a couple of times talked to her once told me to call back in 2 hours when I did nothing. My VIP lapsed so I can't tell if the reviewers credible or if it was an edited review or something. Time after time, I see a new provider on line that looks absolutely great to me and I am ready to go. First, I check TER reviews and, a high percentage of the time, I learn that I am better to take my time and money elsewhere. Over and over, I have been saved by the reviews.
When I read posts by people who "can't afford" the TER VIP membership or, as in this case, let it lapse. This is like a carpenter who says he can't afford a hammer or a saw! If you are going to hobby at all, how can you afford not to have a VIP membership? If you are saved once, you have paid for at least six months of membership.
I am not shilling. The shilling is tomorrow. I am simply sharing my experience.
A Carpenter is likely doing it as a career or job. This is a hobby! At least for most of us guys. Although i must say some guys seem to go at it like it is there job (makes me wonder some times).
So I do appreiciate Pucks comment below and cannot argue with the rather sharp point well made...... But as for membership lapsing from time to time...... Mellow out! Go get laid! That's what I'm going to do... As soon as I get done checking for reviews.

It's called a "simile." A simile is a figure of speech that indirectly compares two different things by employing the words "like", "as", or "than." An example would be "A hobbyist who says he "can't afford" a TER VIP membership is LIKE a carpenter who says he "can't afford" a hammer or saw.
The two are not identical, they are similar. I'll keep you in mind and try to simplify any future comments so as not to cause confusion.
By the way, many people do carpentry as a hobby, and I am willing to bet that most carpenters, at any level, find a way to afford a hammer and a saw.
Hey i fully agree with Puck's point. And I can appreiciate dry humor way he did it, even if that was taken as rude.
But come on professor! A hobby is a hobby, my point to you was, if you are doing carpentry as a hobby and your hammer handle breaks (like vip lapsing), you might just pick up a new one up next time you are at the hardware store (or re-up vip status when you get to it). But if you are doing it professionally you better even have a spare hammer in your tool chest.
So why don't you wash some of the starch out of your underwear before you break your handle?

Thanks for being so professional Puck, I appreciate it. A simple "Sorry, that question is too specific" or something would have sufficed. I expect this from some of the regulars lately, but to be humiliated and belittled by a moderator? Wow. I'm genuinely sorry if I asked for too much but I honestly thought it was a reasonable post. Apparently my request is somehow much worse than all of the rest that go through here on a daily basis though. I've also seen several email addresses go through here unmoderated; there are still one or two on the current page of posts. When I try to ask questions I get treated like this. When I try to contribute info about a provider NCNS'ing me after a two hour drive and possibly getting herself arrested, I get my posts denied repeatedly without an explanation. I can't win either way so I might as well stop wasting my time.
If you go to 'my TER' at the top of the page and then clock on 'my message boards' you will be able to see every post you've ever made and, if they were denied, the reason for the denial.
Belittled? Sack up - you are asking on the board for the very information that is the stock-in-trade here, essentially the only thing of value the site has to sell. Perhaps you don't think you are insulting the people who pay for membership or get VIP access by contributing reviews - but I can assure you I was insulted as someone who volunteers his time as a moderator.
As for your 'contribution' - you expected me to approve a post saying a girl had been arrested and then maybe tried to set you up, pure speculation from someone with no history here. Oh yeah, Ima jump all over allowing people to post whatever kind of accusations they want, nobody would ever do something like that without the purest of motives.

were talking about $20 here .my god. I have been a VIP for years here and have saved hundreds of $$$$$. This week i was set to see Jamie Hunter, opps read the review no-no. If you just resorted to backpage alone im sure you would get ripped off numerous times . So if im going to play this game i want all the tools in my box i can get.
correction 30 bucks...a month...every month. last hammer i bought i paid $20 for it once and i've had it ten years now. wanna buy a 3600 dollar hammer? I know the $ and the hammer were different points, just sayin'
If you can't afford to play the game then don't, but don't come here looking to play for free. We all make choices, if you choose not to be VIP, no problem, but don't think you're going to get it free from those of us who do.

Haven't you been reading the board lately? We're supposed to be "Minnesota nice" and help eveyrone all the time no matter what they ask for. Even if they don't bother to buy a VIP membership, those of us that do are supposed to help them out so they never need to buy one.
