I know!!! I love you! Most people do not know these things......I have a Bible degree and studied the origins on pagan religion....and it's interesting to note how the Christians adopted these pagan customs!

Rabbits are symbols of fertility - the early Christian church co-opted many of the pagan rituals and celebrations of the Romans when it became the official church of the empire - Easter was moved to accommodate a spring fertility festival (for the people AND a fertile harvest).
