It's worth noting those involved were also charged with money laundering, which means in all likelihood they weren't paying their taxes.

the feds probably now have your PII as well as logs of your visits?  Is it possible that any of the 85,000 new IRS agents will want to cross reference their potential "cases" to see how much discretionary income is being spent by those in their crosshairs?

Because they are/were an agency, did/do they fall into the category of Reputable Providers?

Did they really give 2 fucks about safely handling client information?

I wouldn't worry. Being on a list is evidence of nothing.

You definitely have more to be worried about being arrested for soliciting a small town operation in the Brainerd/Baxer area than a national agency with thousands of clients.

I was a client of xoc for not very long, had three dates and was it. I reached out to my lawyer and walked through the details. She was not very concern I would face any legal trouble. Of course she told me to shut the fuck up if I were to be questioned.

So, I was concerned at first but not so much anymore. I have legal representation if it came down to it and would advise anyone in my shoes to do the same. At least have someone on retainer if something were to come up.

Wow, you now have a 3rd "liker" when you say something.  I can always anticipate the Pete & RePeat show with you and the Rickroller.  You're comparing apples to bicycles.   I really don't expect a lot of guys would need to be worried about actual arrests, even though one has already burned up $$ consulting with counsel about it...their info is now in the Fed's hands.  If you have trust in the federal government, then well...no worries, huh??

Good advice.  Especially SHUTTING UP if talking to anyone in LE.

But the issue is they have to prove you did something illegal.   Paying for someone to be with you (nothing sexual) isn't illegal at all.

They need to prove something happened sexually.... and it was directly exchanging money for said sexual act.    Hard to prove.

Everyone stay safe.

… if the reviews in XO would be sufficient to “prove something happened sexually”?  I know TER’s position is that all reviews here are fictional.  And of course they are, right?

I guess you count “likes” as much as you count the number of people you know in your small community up north.  Living in a town of only 13,000 people doesn’t give you the right exposure to how things work in the real world.  For example, how things happen in not even major city like Minneapolis is like New York City compared to Brainerd.

There was a large agency busted in Phoenix in the aughts, the media got the client list and published it.

I spent almost 2 decades living in the sw metro, maintained an office downtown and worked on RE projects all around the ring and in the urban core.  Unlike you, I not only lived in the "real world" but participated and many, many ways.  I think if you ventured into the real world, it'd take a rather large bite out of your ass.

...would it really matter after it became public?  Just suppose the DOJ or your state's AG sends a letter to your home.  Hey, Mr. Dumbass, we've got you on a verified client list (with specific dates visited) for an escort agency that was just implicated in numerous federal charges.  Would you mind letting us know if there's anything you can help us with?  Mrs. Dumbass happens to open the mail that day and decides to take the letter to her divorce attorney.  Game...set...match, Mr. Dumbass just lost at least half his shit, will be battling for custody rights and his life is hugely fucked for a decade or two.

Or face with a fine and community service for a guilty plea of a misdemeanor...who gives 2 shits about that as a worst case scenario?

Isn't the phrase "Take a bite out of my ass" and not "It'd take a rather large bite out of your ass."

Well, at least in this specific scenario, I would think the client would be less than motivated to cooperate with LE if they already outed him.

This is how LE gets around the idea about P4P and how they get a bust. They have done this in PH and other cities In both agencies and private deals; most of the time, they go to the escort (I'm sure in this case, they have all the escort's names). They work on her talking about her clients and what happened, like P4P. They will lie to her,  something like client X said this happened; what do you say?

If she says client X and her had P4P, they have the client. I've heard of them trying to work the client first because they throw a scare tactic at him, like marriage, kids, or his business. You have to remember that the feds might have been in control of this agency for a while

I'm not bothered because they accepted my p411 verification and did not ask for personal info.  While I'm unhappy they are gone, this just renews my determination to never provide information to anyone that links directly to me.  People who do that are taking a huge risk, imo.

I highly doubt most XOC clients have anything to worry about. They kept all of their web info and communication on servers overseas in a country the USA has no access to. They made the switch a few years ago for safety reasons in case of things like this. The only way the feds have user info is if they hacked the site which is unlikely given the lack of national security involved, or if they were given the info to access which is also highly unlikely given the providers didn’t have access. Even if they flip one of the owners, as long as you didn’t have your real name listed with them you should be fine. Although I did see some people had their real full names on their profile 🤦🏻‍♂️. It’s pretty clear from the reports that the FBI was working with at least one companion and at least one disgruntled former client. Companions didn’t have access to the site so they most likely saw the site from a clients view. The only thing incriminating they could see is reviews which would only incriminate someone if they used their real name on their profile.
