Sorry if this isn't a great place, but given the nature and general subject matter of the board, i thought I'd give it a whirl.

I got an IM on a messenger whilest I was away and decided to google the screen name @ insert-domain-here, and found this:

Interesting, no?  Anyone know anything about it?  Looks a bit fishy to me, since it's not really 100% pro yet (seems like it's trying real hard tho).  

Any help and/or efforts are as always greatly appreciated.

No, the site is almost certainly not legit.  First, any "real" girls gone wild based site would be professionally done before it went live.  They certainly have the money to do that.  

Second, if you click on the "donate" link, it gives an email address that you're donating to.  If you google on that address, it comes up with some Minnesota based links.  Given that you, in minnesota board posted this, I'm suspicious that you yourself are the one behind it and am looking to use the board to advertise and get people to give you money.

To use an IT term, that looks like "vaporware" to me.  Lots of promises but nothing concrete.

I assure you sir, I am not.  I have neither the time nor the brains to set up a scam of any kind on any scale.

I didn't just pick some random board to post this on.  I live in Minnesota.  If I wanted to spread this around in such a fashion, I'd have wasted more of other peoples' time as well as my own and posted this on multiple other boards, no?

Now that I've had my morning chuckle, I must be going.

I checked the domain name.  It has only been registered for 1 year.  I would suspect that a truly legitimate business spun off of the Girls Gone Wild franchise would register it for a much longer period of time.  Highly suspicious and not to be trusted in my opinion.
