Why not both?

I've used both, most of my regular clients prefer the bed, but I've had a lot of fun recently using just the table! (I had to temporarily move locations during construction at my usual spot and couldn't use a ned)  sorry if this is a silly question, I'm just a curious gal! And I'm getting ready to get back into my usual location, wondering if I should bother with the table? (Please be nice/patient...I'm new to the TER world...) thanks in advance for any feedback!

Ok then...perhaps this place isn't for me! I was encouraged many times to join TER. I'm kind of wondering why?!

Bed for me, if I were to make a visit for a massage and other fun.

The table for any serious massaging ... if we get to that ;) ... and the bed for other activities. I find beds, except maybe for floor futons, don't offer a good platform for massage other than light sensual massage.  If you have to choose only one of those, I think it depends on what your focus is, massage or "other".  I know several FBSM providers who have only a table and it works just fine for them.  Some have both. But from my experience, the providers who offer a great massage have a table (and maybe a bed too).

Now you have 2 more cents for your holiday shopping!  :)

I'd do both if they can both fit. (Options are always good) But if most of your clients prefer the bed, go with that!

Yay! A reply! Thank you. (Really I was just trying to spark a conversation and meet some people on here.)  I'll definitely keep both options : )

Both have good uses. Tables are excellent for some things as are beds.  A few ladies have both, and that is great. The vast majority of girls I see just have tables in their locations, so that's what gets used.  Probably depends on what type of bed.  There is a place or two that have a mattress on the floor.  Not very appealing to me.  But I get the impression that's not your style.  If you have the space and resources to have both, I'd say having a table and bed available would be a huge plus over the competition.

Absolutely, both!  There are advantages to both, depending on the desired session. I'm not interested in a massage per se, but the table makes an excellent setting for an exchange massage, to explore the possibilities of furthering, expanding the menu. If I'm lucky, a bed becomes a very nice addition to the experience.

With my ATF massage lady it is a table.  Massage is much better, and it has never cramped our style for other.  bigdell

To use both if you have that option.  If you are able to have a shower: BONUS!
There are so many men who simply want the TOUCH of another person's body.  To be held and comforted. Great to just cuddle and make out in the bed.  I have a few clients that really LOVE the super light touch all over the body and a great conversation and a little extra fooling around, and that is another great reason for the bed.

The table: People get nervous and don't know what to expect.  When they sign up for a massage and see a table, there are those that have a sense of comfort in that the bed is sometimes really unexpected.  I have a massage side and a bed side of the room.  A lot of people really DO want some good massage.  The table is definitely the way to go there.

my 2 cents.

I am curious and diving right in also. From another provider I think there are benefits and con's of both. The better the connection with the client varies what I would rather be on. I tend to enjoy a table as you can be professional when you need to be strict or you can climb on up and be closer!

The table for the conventional massage and the bed for the other activities.

Go with whatever you are most comfortable with. Some providers simply cannot give a good massage on a bed but are excellent when using a table. I'm guessing it has to do with their positioning on the bed and their ability to apply pressure. Of course if your clients don't really care about getting a good massage but are much more interested in the sensual aspects of the session a bed will be the way to go.

Thanks for all of the feedback! I will most definitely offer both, and as Trinity Lake mentioned, a shower too...next week could be pretty busy! ;-)

I am massage only.   I tend to not visit providers that do not have a proper table and massage set up.   That said, I like the option of a bed or futon being available but will typicially only use it or accept an invitation to move to it once I am comfortable with the provider.

Just me.

I totally agree! As a CMT, I appreciate the table and Im able to give a much better massage, due to body mechanics..and yeah, it's a lot of fun to climb up on the table to really, ah...get in there...you know?! haha! But there's just not enough room to spread out and get creative and snuggle...like we can on a bed. So...I think the ability to have both is looking like the smart choice! I'm also new to TER, but I"ve been a provider for about 3 years...I'm hoping we can find this place useful! Thanks for your feedback...I always appreciate it! : )

I guess it would depend on what type of massage you're looking for.  A table is good for easy access to the whole body, deep tissue or truly therapeutic types of massages.  If you're going for a sensual, light touch or more playful session, then a bed can be very useful.  Offering both is a good thing because we all love options.
