And Mr.Info, you SHOULD be concerned, about who would know your true handle - seeing how you seem to ALWAYS post in an alias! But if there is one thing I hold as an absolute in this hobby, it is PRIVACY! and I do believe that is a line that should never be crossed! I am of course not real happy to hear that moderators have that much info  about us at their disposal! (though I suspected they did) I think the true handle behind an alias is all the mod needs to do their job - The rest should be for Staff eyes only!
-- In regards to privacy and personal info on this board - If I were to be the moderator, I may occationally FLAME THE HELL out of some of you for how  vulnerable and open some of you leave yourselves when it comes to your true identity and your "movements" in this hobby!!  THIS ISN'T CANADA YA KNOW! - There's still someone out there who DOES NOT have our best intrests in mind!
-- And, if by some chance, I should beat the near imposible odds and become the moderator here, I would ONLY do it as a co-mod with someone else, not only do I like the "check and balance" that this brings (good wisdom on your part GND, to pick guys at the far opposite ends of this hobby!) -- I'm just too lasy to do all the work alone! - I spend a great deal of my spare time time between the sheets with some girl whose half my age! - I can't be stuck to a laptop all that time by myself! - besides maybe it would slow MDL down a little to dump the workload on him, and I could finally catch up to him in reviews! When Mr. info started posting on this board he was a little over the top (my opinion, like rear ends, we all got'em) but the last couple of months I have really enjoyed reading Mr. Info posts! He knows the rules, the TER biz, and I think he is a good candidate for us here in the TC's. If not Mr. Info, we need (again IMHO)someone from outside the TC's that is not entrenched in the local who-ha and a skewed local opinion!
Sorry TCG, I think Mr. Info has tripped and cracked his noggin when he nominated you as MOD; possibly his only fault recently. Nothin' against you TCG, I enjoy a lot of your posts but, you're not impartial here in the TC's. Just ask Sparky and TwistedB who I think, are good board members. May our fine hobby, in the words of Mr. Spock: "Live long and prosper!"

We're all adults here (supposed to be). Why do we need a fucking a babysitter? The only thing that should be moderated are posts attempting to give out someone's personal information. I have no sympethy for the thin-skinned crybabies on this board that can't take any critisism. And the posters that want to be ass-holes will still be ass-holes regardless, they aren't moderated anyway! There has definately been an inconsistency in who and what gets moderated on this board, and I say hethans rule themselves.

and a cape and mask? - why don't WE do this together? some providers around here already think we are the same guy! - besides think of the fun we could have with Mr. twisty! - Although I'd never moderate him...... It's more fun to watch him jump around with one foot in his mouth!

I wouldn't want her to develop the thick skin the job would require! Some things are most beautiful just as they are - That's her for sure! She sure sweet and funny, kind hearted, with one of the most up-beat positive attitudes in the biz. If there ever was a job for her it would be "lifestyle coach" for some of the other gals out there that haven't faired so well over time. This business has taken it's toll emotionally, mentally, and spiritually on more than a few ladies out there, but seemingly not her - If you could clone attitude, she'd be a good original from which to make copies!

I don't mind so much that you are this way as a member of this community, to each their own. But as a moderator, your predisposition to speak in an "I told you so" manner just wouldn't fly! -- Not only that, but your judgement is in clear question when you would attempt to nominate your-self to this position IN YOUR ALIAS! With so much at stake here, and the need to trust someone with varying degrees of our personal info, it is not reasonable to do this while hiding, then acting coy and smug when someone calls you out on it, and diverting attention from the question at hand! -- Me as the moderator?? A long shot, but one undisputable fact is I do not hide my identity and post in an alias with out making my true identity KNOWN to any one who asks! Another undisputed fact about me is my absolute respect of "personal" info.(certainly I live what I speak when it comes to that!) Why isn't the cloak of your true board name enough? why yet hide behind another level of aninimity? then when asked to show your self make us go on a search engine goose chase to try and figure it out? I don't want to waste my time on it! JUST ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!!

Great idea Cas! I asked for a place like this some time ago on the Suggestion & policy and national boards. Let's just let the cream cheese fly! and the useful posts will still be there, and Mr. Info will still come along posting like he runs the place, yet hiding behind an alias, and TCG will still put up one "useless" link after another, Twistedb will keep calling anyone who doesn't think like him "losers" and complaining about anything and everything, JohnGalt will keep writing one well thought out post after another and getting flamed for it by people who can't see past their own little worlds, and the gang with "traveler lust" will continue to submit their reports on ladies passing through, ect..ect..ect!  -- But what about me? Will I ever get put on unmoderated status and NOT post under constant fear that one slip of the tongue will put me back in posting purgatory! Unless I'm made moderator, and flip the switch MYSELF, I just can't see it ever happening!
 All I ever wanted is to post in real time, and to be heard, I have been filing on the bars of my cage since I started posting, I just want to gain the same freedoms my peers enjoy - and often take for granted! My purpose in entering visably into this community was to simply share my unique perspectives and proclivaties, sadly it became a quest to "escape - by any means nesessary". Now my biggest fear is that during the changing of the guard, I will go from frying pan into the fire, and some well meaning policy wonk will step in to assert his/her "new sheriff in town" powers and in doing so, ruin a rather fun place to visit at the end of the "regular" part of the day!
Utopia is a foolish chasing after the wind! all we need if someone to take out the trash once in a while when people from other boards stop by and crap in our sandbox.
 I know I'm just the guy to do it, but I don't want to do it alone...........

There's no reason to make "extra" work out of this - one of the primary reasons for coming here is the offering and exchanging of info about the HOBBY - not TER rules and policies! -- Which is what you offer in your "style" of posting! or these kinds of chasing after the wind search quests, How about if I started posting in morse code - will you then understand that if you have "info", just spit it out and QUIT making it into unnessesary work!
