I mean WTF, some 30 guys fucked up, and unless some legal eagles on the board have some inside track on what's going on and share it, the rest of us won't know if this case goes the next step til we hear it on TV.  Why worry about something that affects just a few on the boiard?

Now that the federal grand jury in Minnesota has unsealed the murder indictment of Lindsey and Raleigh (see page 1 of today's Pioneer Press or see link below), will the "Minnesota Nice Guys" indictment be next? Fed murder charges are rare, and the Lindsey and Raleigh case from 2007 took up a lot of grand jury time. A grand jury now with time on its hands can spell trouble.

Or can we hope that Fed prosecutors won't see much chance of winning when the lead defendant is disabled and in a wheel chair?

But I'm sure the local Federal courts had a lot of cases between the one for today's indictment and the MN Nice Guys.  I would think whether or not they indict anyone depends on the strength of their case.

I think they can handle more than one case at a time and if necessary convene additional grand juries to hear evidence on additional cases.

Think about it. At the rate crime occurs in this country, if it took 2 years for the grand jury to hear evidence on one case and you can only tend to one case at a time, nothing will ever get done.

I would speculate that these cases are done.

Various jurisdictions of LE at local, state and national levels are probably hoping they never hear the phrases Minnesota Nice Guys and My Fast Pass again because those phrases are indictments of LE incompetence and a waste of tax payer dollars.

plus the cops and judges enjoy providers too.  Probably freebies for not busting providers.
