Unless the individual suffers a traumatic, incapacitating injury (e.g., automobile accident) or sudden death (e.g., heart attack or stroke), why is their a need to wait until the end (and require another's assistance) to conceal involvement in the hobby?
Are clearly ill individuals (providers and hobbyists) still functioning in our community right up to their last breaths? What can be done with "old" information discovered by others? If a family member is sorting through the personal belongings of a hobbyist or provider (real-life dad or mom, brother or sister), they are looking for things of value (not criminal activity) to keep for themselves or sell for the estate.Does being a hobbyist or a provider follow you to the grave? Assuming there is no law that changes the course of the hobby or societies view of our activities, do you let your loved ones know what you have done here? Or as you are kicking the oxygen habit do just STFU?
If you wouldn't say anything while alive, I don't see how waiting until you're dying would suddenly make it less of a problem. Unless you're talking to the policeman who always knew what you were doing but couldn't prove it.
A fairly prominent local provider, who has since retired, had a client pass away. I am not sure how sudden the death was, but his widow began harassing the gal when she discovered the email evidence. Was quite a mess, his widow had been unaware of her husbands activity and was pi$$ed
There was a similar situation of sorts, some years ago, when a rather wealthy gentleman from N.Y. who had a wife and grown children at home, and a second home here in the twin cities.
Well long story short, he was keeping his side action here, secret from the family.
He was here on business, and passed away in the act with his mistress here.
The mistress was housed in a very upscale condo, with a luxury vehicle, that was leased.
When he bit the dust, the NY family, began the process of accounting, and so on.
That is when the wife, found out about the existence of the mistress, and Boy was the Wife
Pissed Off.
The wife had the leased vehicle confiscated, and then went to court, to have the mistress removed from the condo, cause the mistress refused to co operate in any manner.
In the end, the mistress, was given possession and free title to the Condo, as a way to make her go away.
But she got no money, no luxury car, and so on, and this loser Bitch had to go get a job! LOL
( ya know those assn. dues are rather steep )
The family then had to go about spinning stories, and paying tributes, to those in the know, such as me, but I refused any tribute, and minded my own business.
The money would have been better spent, if they had the BSC Mistress committed to a state hospital, for the insane. LOL
Why do you insult the Mistress by calling her a loser bitch? Where charges brought against her because it died in her bed? Do you think being a provider is not a real job? Don't tell me someone who as a "kept" woman in such a style not thought about getting caught. Are you sure he didn't just have her name on the condo? Doesn't sound like you have minded your own business or even know the full story/

your questions / statements do not deserve further thought or attention from me.
However, I have a couple of friends that know about what I do and I'm afraid they'll get drunk at my funeral and blurt it out during the eulogy.
I'm a little worried about babbling in the nursing home. Other evidence could show up as well but hopefully I'll have some time between hobby retirement and senility.
Unless I pass on suddenly, I hope I will have time to delete any remaining evidence before I die.
You're dead. If you were really that concerned about their feelings, maybe you wouldn't be doing this now. I, for one, hope they find all the evidence and invite them to my funeral or at least tell them
...is one expected to bestow it to one's children, grandson's or to the local public library? I totally spaced this out and forgot to discuss it with my lawyer during my Will preparation.
Great topic!
SHIT! I didn't think about that.
There's still time to revise your will. ![]()
