What would you expect from a massage

Do you mean what do you expect or what do you want?
For example, many of the places that advertise on BP or CL don't offer a HE so if you go there and expect a HE you'd be disappointed, but you shouldn't have expected a HE.  Most massage places don't offer HE.
If you do a little research you'll probably know what to expect before you go to a particular place.
It may not be what you want.

Just curious, I am pretty much of a massage guy.  in reading reviews, and in my own experience, it appears that the service provided is greatly varied.  I think that one should have a general expectation when getting a massage.  (probably HE for instance)  So, I'm going to throw this out there and ask everyone what they would expect from a massage.  Providers can reply too.  Thanks

I wasn't necessarily thinking about a parlor.  But now that you mention it, I would not expect a HE at a parlor.  I tend to avoid them unless I know of someone there.

Generally, wanting a good massage, nude or topless, mutual touching and HE.  But I have seen providers that provide both nude and topless, but no touching and no HE.  Yet, I have seen some providers for less dough that have a great HE and allow some touching.  Then again,  there are some that offer a great exchange where both of us are happy.

So, I guess my question is this.  If I spend a buck and a half for a massage, what should I expect for that. What if I spend 2 bucks?  Yes, I know that YMMV sometimes.   I'm just trying to spur a discussion on what we might expect from a massage provider.

The purely therapeutic therapists who only want customers looking for a massage tend to stick with the therapeutic massage section. There are some who advertise there (hit and miss to find who they are)that will provide HE for their basic hour fee, though some have an upcharge. (I don't expect an upcharge for HE if you're already paying $80 for the hour.)   If the provider (masseuse) is advertising in the body rub section of BP I think it is fair to expect HE. Having said that, there are a lot of untrained body rub providers who are advertising in the body rub section who provide nothing but a rub and a tease. That doesn't mean I don't expect an HE from them; it just means that it is not  what you get..but then you don't go back either.
For $1.5 I would expect that you should be able to get a nude session with some degree of exchange massage. For $2 she better be very hot and very interactive, maybe even full service. Just my .02
