Maybe this is the age difference between the author and myself but I would actively avoid my version of his Julia. I think the feelings he describes about her are intense. The line between lust and love can be very narrow for most. He appreciates and understand her for what see is and without real maturity I can see some going down a very dark, depressing and potentially dangerous road.
If I ever get that 'developing a crush' feeling I move onto the next gal. I understand that for some, maybe even most guys, that seeing a provider is more than just the sex, it is to seek companionship, someone to listen. And while I enjoy a lady with an ability to hold a conversation before and after, I am primarily there to have sex with a women otherwise out of my league.
It does take real maturity to be able to pull off a relationship such as the one described in the blog. One in which someone deeply loves another person, as this man loves his wife, but is also able to love someone else (a different type of love—not lustful, more the love of good friends) and understands that the sexual intimacy between them is that of a “courtesan” and client, not between two lovers having an affair.
I wonder if that’s one reason many providers have a minimum age limit?

If you are not confident in your ability to recognize the relationship for both what it is and what it isn't then it is best to move on in such a situation.
The ‘London blog’ and many of the comments do such a great job at explaining the many, multiple draws of the hobby. For me, rather than finding, or even hoping for, my ‘Julia’ equivalent, it’s the fleeting (or sometimes substantial) interaction, action or experience that fuse to create a collective, ever-evolving ‘Julia.’ Every encounter has an equal chance to contribute and be special in its own right with no expectation of reaching a higher plane. I’ll readily admit, I enjoy reading my past reviews and vividly reliving those experiences thanks to how I’ve memorialized them here, with TER as my virtual, indelible memory bank.
