Why are you thinking about a special? Customer appreciation? Looking for new business? If you offer a special, you should be able to measure the results. I've not had the pleasure of meeting you yet, but your website and reviews suggest a very admirable reputation, so I'm wondering what you are thinking. If business is slow, a special of some sort is a good way to get the phone ringing again. Your prices seem very much in line with someone of your reputation, but some on this board have suggested that prices are reaching a high point-too high in some opinions. If developing a regular business, maybe a permanent slight reduction might produce your desired results. "Slow day" specials help bring in business on those days.
