So my Friday night sucks since I have two big projects kicking my butt. Decided to take a break and rock out to some music and starting thinking does anyone have a play list they use or would to set the mood?

My thought is it would greatly depend on mood you want to set and who you are with.

Right now I'm blasting Motley Crue, Cindarella, Poison(going on tour with Def Leppard), Ozzy, Hager, Van Halen (on tour!!) , Buck Cherry,  Nickleback(on tour!!), Metallica, Styper and Theory of Deadman, Def Leppard (they are going on tour with Poison soon, FYI). Yes hard and loud. Really loud. But I we can do that at home. Who doesn't want to 'rock' it to songs like Bad Girl Friend, Girls Girls Girls, Talk Dirty to Me and Something In Your Mouth. ;)

Now Barry White, Akon, Steve Perry, Al Greene or Katie Perry (okay just kidding - course I kissed a girl)! This might be more in the line of romantic loving session. Not that hard and loud can't be but certainly cannot blast and make the hotel thump with the bass. But songs like Beautiful (Akon), I'm Gonna Love You Just a Little More, Baby (Barry White) and Love In This Club (Usher) are softer and aren't about blowing your eardrums out.

Sure a lot of suggestive, could set the mood and some might be taken the wrong way like Bad Girlfriend(Theory of a Deadman) or Crazy Bitch(Buckcherry).

Just curious.

My play list would be American Standards - Sinatra, Martin, Torme, Darin with some opera and Richard Cheese thrown in.

turned on a bunch of funky metal music.  Kinda killed the spirit for me!
