Hello MN People!

I will be making my very first trip to visit you in early April for a few days and wanted to introduce myself.

I'm Jenny... a fiery Italian vixen from Sunny Southern CA. I'm Sexy, sassy and all about fun. 5'9, 36DD (all natural)hour glassed shaped, long dark hair, alabaster skin and a quirky smile. If you can't afford her, then don't see her.  But there is nothing to be gained by your post.

All he did was point out that her rate is higher than usual for this market.  There's nothing wrong with that.  For all I know, maybe she wasn't aware of that.  She is, of course, free to charge whatever she pleases.

..I for one am tired of comments on providers ads about their rate.  If the lady is out of your budget stay out of her ad and move on.  Some guys on her are not budget only oriented.

if the rate is too high for your budget then simply move on.  
If you are going to whine about a lady's rates on her thread, then go back and play in the men's room at the airport.

Hey, no need to bring up the past there, citizen.

you must be awesome!  However one wonders if those apples are poisonous....LOL

I'm just puzzled at our persistent inability to discuss it without people getting angry.

As I pointed out in my response in a private message to her pm to me, I did not intend to ruin her introduction; just merely point out that her rates are very high for this area. Does she want to come to Minnesota and do business or come here and sit around in a hotel? I would like for her to be successful and come back if she is an exceptional provider. I talk to so many providers that have told me how they have had to lower rates because of the economy.

TER allows the ladies 1 ad every 7 days. When a lady's rate is over the arbitrary "normal rate" of our area, her ad turns into a slam fest on her rate.  The end result will be that the high end ladies will just bypass our city.  

There have been a number of threads on rates in the past to discuss the topic.  I just don't think the rate discussion belongs in her ad post.

I have heard from several people regarding this thread and that makes sense to me.  It's not appropriate to hijack the lady's ad thread for this conversation.

You started the attack.
If you have a problem with her high rates, move on and shut your mouth. Even if your intention was not to ruin her introduction, you set it off in a negative tone. To state the obvious (high rates for this market) does nothing but spout negativity and make you look stupid. I am positive that Jenny is a smart business woman and did some research before jumping into our market. For you to question her rates is openly trying to negotiate; most providers frown upon that.

Remember, we have one chance a week to make an impression with our ad; you are the jerk this week for jumping on the 'visiting' girl's ad.

Even this post you make is back hand towards her. ("Does she want to come to Minnesota....and sit around in a hotel?")

I talk to many providers that have told me how you really are not that *good* at your so-called speciality.....so how do you like them' apples?

Be nice, play in the wet stuff or shut the *uck up.

Gentlemen should keep their mouths shut regarding an individual provider's rates. If one wants to talk about what's an appropriate rate in the market then start a new thread for that purpose. In this case, the rate was only $50 to $100 more than the 'market rate'; hardly enough to complain about. To many of us on this board, $100 is pocket change. I can easliy blow thru an unplanned $100 in less than 5 minutes when I go to Home Depot or Gander Mountain.

However your personal attacks only make matters worse; insulting the person with whom you are disagreeing is very seldom useful.

He came off like a malicious tool, totally highjacking the one opportunity she gets in 7 days to make a solid first impression and very likely damaged her earning potential.
