It would work for all the same reasons a point-man report would work, whereas the gents would have an early heads up and potentially be able to PM questions to the author. Because there are many uninformed hobbyist out there that does not check out boards like this one of the other board. Or they feel cheated or embarassed to say they were "taken" by the rip off queen
