I know that LE has been a bit vigilant regarding some escorts, services and national boards.  It's clear that with some intelligence, this doesn't have to happen.

Looking at this closely, it seems if we are discreet and don't sing like a canary, we can coexist with the righteous.  

I wish that some laws would change, but they haven't and probably will not anytime soon.  If LE didn't get calls from annoyed people, they would have better things to do in the first place.  

Ladies: Don't be indiscreet.  Don't run a high traffic incall and bother neighbors.  Keep your computers clean and try to get up to date on the laws.  

Gent's: Remember that what you do and say can and will be held against you.  You may think you are saving yourself by telling all, but from reading the Orlando TBD board, it seems quite clear that you might just end up on a witness stand facing your accuser and everyone you love.  

Also, based upon what I've been hearing, it's a good idea to be careful in who you see.  With TBD, they ran a sting with a Internet LE site, which then turned into gent's saving themselves (presumably) by cooperating with LE and giving information on those they had seen before.  

WE create our destiny here.  If you're going to play, be prepared.  LE usually has better things to do if we don't give them reason to investigate someone acting foolishly.

In case you don't have time to read the TBD Board, my take on it is that one of the escorts "stung" down in Florida is going to demand to cross-examine her accusers.

In other words, the Gents who thought they were saving their skins by ratting on the Ladies they had seen may not have such an easy road. True, they will escape any charges, if that is the deal they cut. But as for remaining anonymous, how does this sound: "Uh, gee Honey, I may be a little late getting home tonight. I have to testify in a nationally publicized Internet Escort case."

As a client, what do I think? Easy: You go, girl! Guys who think they can play in this game, then just roll over for LE and get a free pass are cowards and scum. I hope the Lady in Florida does drag them all through court, as a message to all guys who might try this escape route in the future.

Misty is right all the way down the list. Be careful, be discreet, and think carefully of the consequences of cooperating with LE if you have the bad luck to get involved with them.
