Are any of you guys intimidated by a beautiful woman? Enough to not date them?  While I don't have an inferiority complex, I can't help but feel a bit intimidated by a girl with perfect teeth, perfect skin, perfect little toesies (OK I like cute feet), and everything else that makes a woman beautiful.

Would this be more of an issue if this woman was a frequent poster here and you didn't want to give up your unknown status. So now you meet and she finds out that you are a skinny legged pimply assed pervert instead of the super intelligent and funny poster we all want to be.

Intimidated, yes, until she bites back!!! Then look out...... hehe.

I  think it can work against a provider if her pics  look too good they are leary or intimidated  or both .... same go's for us I am always worried a little  if he says he is in  his 30's and very attractive .....what if he does not like me the preasure is on.....its always so nice after you first meet on both sides to pay each other a compliment to put each other at ease

....to a woman like that a little self-depreciating humor is oddly appealing, sexy even for a skinny legged pimply assed pervert .  I think she'd accept contact from you with an open heart and mind and soon enough HER LEGS lol.

These are samples of what I hope to feel. But intimidated?  No.

The male ego is absurdly strong no matter how poorly our bodies comport.

And then again, you have to define beautiful woman:

I have to admit to being intimidated....and actually, somewhat prejudiced against the perfect 10's in looks out there... I want to be considered special, and that usually comes with balance, thus the $$$ per hour equalizer!!  ..but still, I have more confidence in the #8 and #9 ladies being more likely to feel they need to reach for it, and appreciate it, just a bit more than a ten.  (victoria, your pretty close to that magic 10, but I was thinking I might make an exception!)

Met her at a party and couldn't believe how beautiful she was. Still haven't  seen her.

Just about then she stood up to stretch her back. She was wearing a little cotton dress, and the settin' sun was right behind her, showing the shape that God had give her.

Curly: I just turned around and rode away.
Mitch: Why?
Curly: I figured it wasn't gonna get any better than that.
Mitch: But you could have been, you know...with her.
Curly: Been with lots of women.
Mitch: Yeah, but you know, she could have been the love of your life.
Curly: She is.

The ego is less powerful when you're not at all sure you'll be "liked."

I have only been really thrown off once.  Yes, just once.  I used to hang out on my local board in the chat room a lot, mostly while I was bored in class (shh don't tell my professors).  I had know this gent from the chat room for a few years before we met and I had built up this image in my mind.  Oh forgot to mention he is a Texan with a ranch.  So in my mind he has on boots, belt with buckle, big cowboy hat and drives a big Texas truck.  He has a deep voice, is tall and spits sunflower seeds all day (shh again don't tell but I do that too).  I was on tour and headed past his neck of the woods so he talked me into stopping in a nearby town.  He shows up and is very peewee hermanish and drove a mini cooper.  Threw me for a complete loop!  He was still the same intelligent, funny man I knew all those years from chat-Just appeared very differently.  We had an amazing time but still to this day he teases me about "going to slip his boots and hat on before getting into his big truck."

No one's ever shut the door in my face so I guess I'm doing OK, at least for an overweight middle-aged guy.

I have to admit I have had the same type of feelings with our stunning providers, but it is more of a complex with proformance then looks. I feel like I'm being evaluated on my skills as a lover compared to other guys she has seen.

I meet an interesting, attractive woman, we get to know each other, and at some point I interpret something between us as I sign that she's attracted to me. When I bring it up, though, I'm always wrong - she likes me, thinks I'm a great guy, but doesn't think of me 'in that way'. (I'm not yet experienced enough to have had this happen with a provider, but I suspect it's only a matter of time.)

On the other hand, I don't see being a fun, interesting poster and being a pervert, skinny, fat, or otherwise, as being in conflict. Having interests outside the mainstream is in itself interesting, I think.
