The way the government is is trying to basically prevent the accused from accessing their own resources to defend them selves and prevent them from having their day in court until it suits the government is particularly pernicious.

What saddens me the most is that this seems to be part of a cultural movement that has taken hold across the entire political spectrum.  It has caused me an indescribable sadness as nearly all of my so-called libertarian friends have slowly succumbed to the false virtue of the law-and-order mentality.  "I'll be more free to exercise my own liberties if the government would just do their damn job and haul everyone except me away."

The above is a very good article.  Highly recommend reading it.

Backpages was also the most active adult advertising site in regards to cooperating with law enforcement to combat human trafficking.

Don't be such a stranger, even if the site is almost dead.

The people on the right and the left who push this pseudo-morality either don't believe or don't care that there are many women who of their own free will choose to do this.  They push their agenda, backed by politicians who see this as an easy issue to score a win on and media that seldom really investigates the line being peddled about how the P4P world is infested by nothing but traffickers and men seeking to prey on women.  The rest of the public just goes along for the most part.
