To the Oceanaire for lobster and to see her favorite band last night. Although my prior career was very professional it would not allowed me to spend 275 on each ticket nor the amazing 2 1/2 lbs lobsters we ate.
Once saw the Moody Blues backed by a symphony. I was sitting behind a couple with two kids about 12 and 8, with what I assumed was one of their mothers. She was at least 70 and was decked out from the 60's. Beaded head band, leather fringed skirt, vest, peace sign, and tie dyed T shirt. The works. She was really getting into it, dancing up a storm. I swore the next thing was she was gonna flash her BOOBS. I promised myself I was just gonna take one or two quick looks and then look away. Great concert!
Agree with the older stuff. Saw the Doobies this summer.....great show. My all time favorite, though, is AC/DC. Attendance at their last concert here was much the same as you saw at the Moody Blues.
Yes it was nice to see the young couple with the kids. I think they enjoyed it. The little girl, at intermission said to her mother "These guys are really good" Did my old heart good. LOL
