The tattoo is a representation of The Phoenix - but not exactly the traditional bird... This is a picture a dear friend drew when she was only 15yrs. old, and was kind enough to give me when we first met. At the time, my parents would not allow me to get a tattoo, but I never forgot about it. Many yrs later, my friend sacraficed a great deal to help me through a very difficult time. Sadly, I did not fully appreciate the gift of friendship she had given me until it was too late. The tattoo represents my love and appreciation for her, and friendship I will never take for granted again.
