I've been outed by a provider and now my job is in jeopardy.  I don't think my wife knows yet, but I am pissed as hell!  You know what they say about paybacks.

How do you know it was a provider? Little more info please.

This is the one thing that crosses my mind each time I see a provider website where potential clients are asked some astoundingly private questions.

List your job, how long you've been working there, provide a work phone number to call for verification. Trust me, I surely understand the need to stay safe, but I would NEVER in a million years give out my work number to any provider, even if she had a thousand perfect reviews.

I can't even begin to stress how critical it is to keep your work separate from your play. That's why I would never visit adult sites at work, or download graphic pics or send extremely personal emails. I understand that can be a hassle, but mixing the hobby and work is just a time bomb waiting to happen.

Yes, I know that the vast majority of girls are honest and respectful of your personal info, but all it takes is one bad apple to put a serious wreck to your world.

I am not terribly interested in the exact location where you work. Whether you are married or not is none of my business.
What I need to know is that you will not harm me or yourself and that you are not LE.
The trust and the risk goes both ways.
Sorry this happened to you, and like the others, I think that you should provide more information.

You really need to out this provider to protect the reputations of all other providers in this city.

Also, I really do not see the point of you posting that you were outed by a provider on this board unless you are going to share the name of the provider.

Two questions that need to be answered.

How did it happen.  You can answer this question without disclosing the provider's name.  

Why did it happen?  What would cause a provider to do this?  I do not believe any of our local gal with do this.  I do know of two that scare me and if it was one of them they need to be outed.  

You could be a help to the community by providing the answers to the above questions.

As everyone else, I would like to hear the story behind this.  Did she call your office and talk to your boss?  

I hope this post stops her from further damage to your life.  My humble opinion is to walk away to avoid instigating her.

In a move that will undoubtedly be unpopular with many of my fellow hobbyists, I’m calling bullshit on this. SpeedRazor drops this bomb and runs without a hint of any detail. Why? I can only assume that he has done something grievous to incite the wrath of a provider (non-payment? physical abuse?) and doesn’t want the rest of the story to get out. By keeping the name secret he ensures that she won’t step up to tell her side of the story. His choice of words in that he was “outed” is interesting. Not “I got caught”? His wife doesn’t know, but his workplace does? The only thing that I can think of that would play out like that would be easily deniable unless there were recordings etc…) How does that work anyway? “Hi I’m a hooker and wanted to let you know that one of your employees, Joe Blow, is one of my clients. Thanks have a nice day.” If that were the case, wouldn’t you say “I’m being blackmailed”?  And if this were the case wouldn’t you use you post to ensure the provider in question was equally outed to the community? I don't think you were outed at all, but you are using this post a threat to stop her from doing so, and are using us all as pawns in your little spat. Speedy, I hope I am out of line and have to apologize to you, but for now, I suggest that we all ignore this posting and carry on. Nothing to see here, just the odor of bullshit.

Not to sound cold but who cares?  Why waste our time venting if you don't have the courage to out who would be nasty enough to do this to a client.  Another worthless post!! Don't post if your not going to give details to make it valuable to the community.

We really need more details from the OP because unless he just wanted to vent it doesn't help anyone to just say he was outed.

I was outed by a provider.Just this morning TOO.

I have to agree with bosco.If that happened to me,you can bet your ass I'd tell you guys who it was.

First of all it was nobody that I have reviewed. I was wrong and I jumped to the wrong conclusion. I was venting. I am annoucing my retirement from this hobby.

(1) Believe half of what you hear and less of what you read...

(2) Be careful before venting (spewing) in a public forum.

some companies that have  IT staff are instructed to inform superiors if they find anything they suspect  illegal or prohibited activities believe me when I say they do check.
I;e surfing porn etc.

I don't ever call people back unless instructed to do so & I only save the info of bad people .

If someone has "wronged me" (by shorting me, NCNSing one me, severely offending me, stalking me, ect) I will save that info for my own safety and the safety of other area providers with whom stay in close contact with.  

As for being outed, I'm 100% positive that this gent is telling the truth but I really feel like there is 10 times more to the story on his side and on the providers side.  I don't know any provider with an IQ of 20 or higher, who would put her own safety and security on the line "just for sh*ts and giggles" to out anybody. On both sides, someone did something to the other to provoke, I'm 100% sure of this as well.

...that made him jump to the conclusion that she outed him to his boss (and really, let's be honest... what good would that do for the girl??)

He obviously had someone in mind who he thought outed him, which means he must have known he did something to make her upset.
