A couple tips:

1. Don't give providers your work info, with a family type business it is too risky. Don't tell providers that your dad is your boss. Providers might have concerns about your age or maturity level but that is stuff you might need to disclose when filling out their P411 form. You might also want to read their websites to see if providers prefer clients of a certain age.

2. When filling you the RS2K or P411 application form online there is usually a section for notes. In this section, give them your work info and tell them to say....

Hi, this is XYZ calling from your BANK NAME HERE to confirm some charges you ran on a credit card or check card. May I please speak to YOUR NAME.  At this point, your dad probably says you are at work or your not and might offer to take a message. Alternatively the caller might ask for a good time to call you.

You might also want to disclose a good time to call in your application preferably when you might be around.

The fact that your dad is your boss or you might be working for a family business is irrelevant and should not be disclosed to anyone.

Don't assume its your key to the city for all providers.  Many will still want a reference if you have no "provider ok"s on record. Once you are a member though you will have access to over 80 local providers, some of whom may not require the ok's.  

There are also a number of providers who offer alternatives, such as meet and greets.  ALso watch for when any of the "elves" are in town as well.  

I have seen a number of providers off Backpage in the past year and none have done anything more than a discreet screening "handshake" upon meeting.  Eventually you will meet one who will provide the reference you need for non-employment verification for admittance to p411 and/or your first provider OK.
