Verification advice

I was recently trying to set up time with a provider when she says that she needed a credit card number for verification.  I was pretty surprised by this.  I have seen A LOT of providers and never have been asked for a CC for verification.  Has anyone heard of this before?  I decided to take  the cautious route and not give out my CC info.  Can any providers give some insight to this?  What are some alternatives that I could do to assure her that I am cool?  Feel free to PM me.  Thanks Doc

No way, giving a credit card is just plain crazy (unless you are paying for the session that way and have nothing to lose).  It's not like we can check who you are without knowing your full name, billing address and placing a charge or hold on the card.  And still...that would prove .....NOTHING.

Credit Card, drivers license and social security numbers should NEVER be given out.  We can see you license when you arrive AFTER you have been screened and well the other two serve NO purpose when it comes to screening as most girls don't don't pay the 50 -80 bucks to do that deep of a check for an hour or two hour session.

You can try to go the Date check route (link below).  Many reputable providers use it.  You can see who takes it locally and who takes it that is touring in the gallery.  If you have already seen a provider that accepts date-check, she can send you an invitation with a free 3 month trial(I think it's like 4.95 a month through a 3rd party biller) or you can join and then ping the provider via their system to verify you (although the first method requires less info from you).  Through this system the provider only has the info you give her (name, contact phone) and access to your references..THAT'S IT.

or
references...and depending on how comfy you are employment verification.  Make sure that the lady is REPUTABLE if you choose the employment route.

Unfortunately, some ladies will not budge.  Then it comes down to you not feeling safe...time to move on to another lovely.  NO SESSION is worth your pc of mind, family or identity theft.

Just my early morning 2 cent rant lol :)

Doc,  you have been around way too long to pull a newbie move like that.   I agree with Missy that that is the biggest way to get scammed!  With all of your reviews...there is NEVER a need to give out that type of personal info.

If they are insistent on it...take a pass and move on.

No way I would give a provider my CC number.  She couldn't do anything with it that would be a legitimate way of verifying anything but she might be able to charge stuff to it or use the info to make a fake card and who knows what other trouble it could lead to.  Quite frankly, I wouldn't worry about convincing her you are cool; I'd drop her like a hot tamale.
