If you have 25 okays I m happy to see you!! Haha
I don’t think it’s safe to send your ID and I would never ask that of someone. I think people just need to be adults. You can tell immediately by a persons tone on the phone or even in text. From the girls side ONLY in Minnesota I have had literally over 5000 requests for FaceTime - NO WAY !! Between the cops and scammers and people who want to blackmail you it’s crazy never do FaceTime. I did it for the first 2 days I was here and got zero clients out of the 30-40 people I did it with and since have been harrassed attempted to be blackmailed, now they also had met personal # that I had to change.I have had two recent experiences that i found unsatisfactory. The first was a traveling provider whose only verification was to have me send a selfie. I have held the position for over 25 years of not sending selfies . I just feel it leaves to much info which can be used against a person. How do you guys handles this? You can trace a picture to a phone. The picture can be used for blackmail as well. The second was a provider I found on p411 . I have twenty five okays from providers including some recent ones. This provider has changed her alias twice . She wanted me to send a photo of me with my id with name and dob visible . Do you guys really do this? i TOLD HER I WOULD DO THIS IF SHE SENT ME HERS .Of course i didn't see her.
Dont be stupid. There's a recent article on kstp of blackmail. If other ho references not good enough ,take a hike ho. Plenty other ho willing to take your $$.
There are other threads on this topic. My view, don't do it, no ID, no selfie. I have been tempted, and resisted, and I am very glad. Once it gets out you can't ever get it back. If more of us stuck to that approach, our lady friends would be forced to stop asking for it.
Its worth considering what kind of target you may be and what you could lose. A young guy starting out not married with few assets could probably handle this risk easily. For us older guys who have some stuff to lose maybe not. Scams are far worse now than they were just a few years ago. I stick to well reviewed TER - P411 providers. If my 80+ OKs are not good enough I probably don't need to see the lady. Best of luck in your decision.
If most everyone refused to give out PII, it would make requiring it extraordinarily difficult.
I do my research on the providers I see and feel they are unlikely to abuse my trust since I always act respectfully. This has also allowed me to see great, selective and caring women.
I would not send a selfie to some agency where that’s the only screening.
Once you give away your ID, it's out there forever.
The provider might mean well and seem trustworthy, but we can't predict the future.
Say you give your ID to a provider in her 20-30s. People eventually change. Some might write a book, run for public office, find a jealous partner, etc.
I wouldn't be able to live comfortably knowing my ID could be exposed 5, 10, 15 years from now.
I appreciate the support i wish everyone felt this way . I have always adhered to the no selfies no real name and dob. I also object to paying large deposits in advance to secure my time. It would best for all of us if we all said no and moved on. The websites even warn against it. Don't fall for the industry standard nonsense.

I think using sites where you can be petrified like p411 TOB tnA ECCiE and PD are great spots to be verified anonymously is better and safer on both sides.
My two cents

While I can understand how this can be frustrating from an admirers point of view, this is also highly frustrating on the providers end as well.
Most of us have our policies outlined on our websites, and had you taken a moment out of your day to see if it's a process that's you're comfortable with, it would've saved both you and the provider a lot of time and frustration.
P411 gives providers a screening warning that reads "This admirer has been screened through employment verification only. We are very careful When screening potential members using this method. However, the reality is that ************" (censored to not disclose too much information)
Congrats, you *might* be employed, but that doesn't rule out other factors and/or behaviors that providers are actually concerned about. I personally have never been a fan of P4 screening, it's not a flawless system & I understand the boundary of not letting that stand alone in screening.
Additionally there is a chain of demand.
1) returning friends
2) those who screen with ID
3) P4 friends
4) everybody else
The same way you want to feel safe enjoying the hobby, a companion wants to feel safe providing a service.
Whether you like it or not, you're not the victim of how providers choose to keep themselves safe. Simply having money in hand does not mean you deserve have access to someone's body and this post reeks of entitlement.
How else can you do vetting for safety?
Why would I rely on p411 or your okays to screen potential clients? How can you verify without real life information? P411 does not do criminal background checks. I do. Your okays don't. I do. Many prepped don't care. I do. No blind dates.
I would happily provide that if it was reciprocal. The provider remains anonymous and changed names two or three times or more?
