First off - Kianna at Mendota Saloon told me they're closing in Feb - any truth to that?  She was hammered out of her gord so I'm not sure what the story really is.

Then my question - what's the story on take-out here?  Posts on this board occasionally make it sound like it's pretty common, but none of the girls I talk to take even the slightest hint towards what might be happening after the show.  Take Kianna for instance - she kept asking if I wanted to "have some fun" during the dance, but when I asked what was happening after she was done she said "um sleep".  ?

I just heard that at a funeral today (of all places to get such info!).  The owner of Axel's bought the building and is going to make it into a restaurant.  Some residents of Mendota are very pleased with that decision!
