It’s happening with more frequency and at this time we all, the pro deposit camp and the anti deposit camp, are literally just repeating ourselves.

While I understand where the clients are coming from and I don’t mind usually being one of the few providers who is willing to poke their head out and provide a different perspective, sometimes I wish people would just use the search function.

I think it was pt barnum who said: there's a sucker born every minute. It seems every adult site I'm on, each week someone is crying about getting rip off from a deposit. I'm not sure why everyone is not learning the lesson . maybe the  thinking is I will go to the front of the line with less providers out there due to covid 9 and our crime situation in mpls. I dont know, and I realized that the gals who do outcall sometimes get sent to sites that dont exist. This is getting old fast and the only way to solve it  is stop being a sucker. If you remember providers requiring pictures 2-3 years ago, I refuse to send them and about 10-15 minutes later she would call or text me and agree to see me. It didnt stop me not even once to seeing who I wanted and rarely pictures are requested anymore.

… who don’t require deposits (e.g. P411 and/or references are enough), I’ll give my business to them.

If a provider wants to require a deposit, that’s her prerogative; I’m not going to tell her how to run her business.  But it’s not something I’m willing to do while there’s other options.

I agree, requiring a deposit is a sure fire sign of a scam.   I have never provided a deposit, and never will.  But I have never done a FMTY arrangement, where I see reputable providers requiring deposit.   That may be a exception.

… that requiring a deposit is a sure fire sign of a scam.  Many reputable providers require deposits, at least under some circumstances.  It’s just my preference to not deal with deposits if I don’t have to.  And I haven’t had to yet. Who knows what the future may bring.

This topic has been beaten to death here on the MN board and on the General Discussion board.

Frankly, the argument you presented is intriguing. On one hand there is disdain for deposits. On the other hand, you admit you can see why providers would sometimes ask for them. Suffice to say, I know I’ve given numerous reasons and examples of why a deposit would be required. Think providers who do outcalls, providers who do not have a static incall and need to get the hotel using the deposit, extended dates where we can’t just find someone else to fill the time, etc. Unfortunately, too many people during the pandemic cancelled flippantly and instead of respecting the time and effort someone made to ensure they could meet you by sending a cancellation fee, they just ignore you or threaten a bad review.

We get it — several people don’t like deposits. Go find providers who don’t require them. Also, reading is fundamental. Read the ads and the websites. There are a plethora of providers in the area who do not require deposits of TER or P411 members for dates 1.5H or less, myself included. You might just find someone if you take the time to read.

I genuinely do like TER but at this point, every time deposits and screening comes up, it just reminds me of a petulant child who is mad they can’t get something they want the way they want it.

Also, I would be remiss to mention, there is a large subset of TER users who say they’d never give a deposit and then they do. A lot of people put on a facade for fellow TER client users but privately do the complete opposite. Just something to think about.

TLDR: New discussion topics please. How about them Twins? Any thoughts about the Vikings schedule? Why is there a business section in the newspaper but not a “labor” section?

The topic may not be of interest to you anymore but that doesn't mean it's not of interest to others.

It’s happening with more frequency and at this time we all, the pro deposit camp and the anti deposit camp, are literally just repeating ourselves.

It's easy enough to simply skip a thread that's of no interest.

to simply use the search function. Alas, I'd be game to skip these particular threads on our regional board but they tend to become an echo chamber otherwise.

The same subject coming up in multiple threads is nothing unusual either.  No matter how tired of this subject you may be, clearly others are not.

Every time the topic of deposits pops up, you're all over it like a fat kid on cake.  You bemoan the topic, but you never fail to type your own long-winded views on it.

I encourage my fellow mongers to avoid providers who require a deposit, and will do the same.

Based off that post history, dude you're a dick and this recent post just confirms that. Your last post was in April: same topic, same provider you're responding to, same twat like responses. Seems obsessive to me. Are you sure you're not just mad that you want to see her and she requires a deposit? Because that's how it comes across. Try reading boss and you'd see she doesn't require deposits for TER or P411 users who book 1 hours and 90 minutes.

The deposit issue comes up and it's a circle jerk in here bro. It's really just a bunch of dudes bitching. And yet we all ask for provider interaction and the one provider who consistently tries and you decide to be a d-bag towards them. This board is becoming a fucking waste.

Dunno if you're a white knight or a plus sized sock puppet, but either way, go fuck yourself.

Remember lads, never pay a deposit with your pussy provider, unless you're dumb enough to pay an advance to your weed dealer!

and came back to see people are still bitching about the ladies requiring certain screening methods and deposits. Some of you guys really know how to show your asses don't you? Instead of whining, start a thread on providers who don't require deposits. JFC

I might have said something on this subject before. 100% of the time, I've deposited with dates that were extended or meet in another city...Minneapolis is a boring city. There always has been a "grace" period beforehand to get to know her (trust for both parties), or she is "well known." I have never had any issues. Also, I gave my private info; I'm not 100% bombproof (I have been scammed or trying to "blackmail me." I've been in this lifestyle since the '70s, so it's bound to happen.

Locally, my views might be different.

So, I think there will always be reputable providers who won't ask for them.  That's who I will choose to see.

Many companions require a  deposit and scam clients all over the country...not all.  Some even make the "3 date booking", which is book three dates with deposit simultaneously, then a regular comes in the picture, she knows him, so the others are toast.
