Traveling Fun - San Diego

Going to San Diego soon and will have time to have some fun. Looking for a few pointers from the board on any of the following:

1. Great provider experience - not more than 400 roses

2. Good clubs or bars where I might meet some ladies for “take out”

3. Other normal things I must see or experience.

Although under the non-P4P activity list the Naval Museum and the Midway carrier exhibit would catch my eye.

Tijuana only a few miles south. More action there than you can handle, be careful and you'll be fine. Don't worry they'll find you in any bar.

Here is an idea.

Go to the regional boards drop down, click on San Diego, and ask them. I am sure people locally in San Diego would know more than MN people. We are pretty far away.

I obviously would post the same question on the San Diego board.

I just have a better feeling from some of the very helpful board members in MN on many subjects.

At least stop and have a cocktail on their patio.  Unbelievable view of the entire bay.  The added bonus is you are able to see arriving passenger flights and you can wave at the passengers.  Great restaurant but expensive.

If your budget is like that you need to go south of the border. Check the TJ reviews page and find an agency that has the talent you desire. I’ve used a few of these agencies over the years and have never - never- been disappointed. Take note of the hotels that are recommended.  Many are truly built for romance.

For a great warm up, I’d recommend taking a taxi from the border direct to the Hong Kong. There you can see the smorgasbord of talent that can be brought upstairs for a fraction of what you pay in the states. From there take a cab to your agency appointment and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!  It’s best to try to return to the U S in the middle of the day or middle of the night when the border crossing is less busy.

For non—hobby stuff, rent a bike and cruise up and down Mission Beach.  Fantastic people watching and you’ll probably see enough tens that you will not be able to keep track. The gaslamp is also great for people watching. The other poster mentioned Mr. A’s, which is good,  but for an incredible view try one of the high-rise bayfront hotels south of the convention center that have top floor bars. Do that for happy hour for your best bang for the buck.

I have family there and have been going to SD for the past 35 years. Feel free to PM with any questions.
