I am a newbie, but would like to cut to the chase and know who a good provider, or two in St. Cloud MN are.
I don't need to get tangled up with some "basket-brain" case or LE.

I might be wrong, but don't think you'll get that answer here, for a myriad of reasons...  

So the challenge is to help you cut to the chase so you don't have to wade through the newbie board.  Let's see...

If you're really lucky a provider with an interest in SC might read your post and offer to help you, because they find your post sympathetic.  On the other hand the words "tangled up with a basket brain case" may not have encouraged that possibility.

Next option is to research, and make back channel connections with providers/hobbyists with SC in their reviews.  

Next option buy the winning lottery ticket before Wong does.  Money will solve all your hobbying problems.
 
Here's what might be more practical advice.  Do your research, see a well-reviewed provider (at this point it may involve driving to the cities) then ask for her help in St. Cloud.  That course of action (almost) guarantees good results.  

This hobby -- "it's frustrating" (to quote J. Mauer) but worth it at least half the time.

You won't find anything worthwhile there. If there is someone UTR those in the know will not share because they put in all the effort to find them. Best bet is to contact someone with reviews and see if they will visit for a multiple hour appointment. That will work no doubt if you have the means necessary.

Winning ticket is currently spoken for.  I have the team of lawyers, accountants, and providers on standby for the press conference.  And yes I will proudly tell my boss and her boss and her boss and that other dick above her to kiss my puckered ass 'cause I quit this bitch.  HAHA  I can't wait!! (but that is a typical Wed noontime wet daydream of mine so it will go off without a hitch regardless)
