Save the whole page then open it with Word and save the pictures to your desktop.  You can then use TinEye and browse to your desktop to tell Tineye where the pic is.

And knowing where the firefox add on bubble appears, I just quickly slip the mouse and viola!

Your other alternative is to bring up the tineye home page and copy and past the EROS URL. tineye will then fetch the images for you, and you can right click onto the photos.
This will only work if you use the EROS direct link to the ad, down at the bottom right.

This will not work on all websites, but it does for EROS.

The TinEye add-on for Firefox is great. Right click on a photo and quickly get a good, if not perfect, idea whether it is stolen.

When I right click on a photo in Eros, though, Firefox tells me that Eros has disabled the right click menu. As far as I can figure out, no right click, no TinEye. I tried saving the whole page to my desktop and then using TinEye, but it didn't work.

Can anyone tell me how to make TinEye work in Eros and other sites that disable right click?

TIA

Here's what you have to do...

1) Right click in the ad on some whitespace but not in the surrounding frame, ie. the list of pictures on the left.
2) Scroll down to "Properties" on the popup menu and highlight the url listed there. That is the actual url of the the eros page ad.
3) Paste the link into tineye's "image address box"

Try it with "lyssa" on eros and you will see that images came from a Russian dating service.

Tools > Page Info > Media

Drop the pic to your desktop.  One way or another you can get the photos, there is no way to lock them down without embedding them in a flash app or Silverlight.

Hmmm, not sure what that first sentence meant. Right click is blocked for me.

Pulling up the tineye home page and using an Eros direct link did the trick, though. Not as convenient as the add-on but it gets the job done. Thanks.

The RightToClick add-on is brilliant. Disable the pop-up box and tineye works perfectly. Thanks a bunch.

Right click blocking is easily overridden by disabling javascript in your browser settings.  or, there are also add ons that accomplish the same thing without having to manually do it...

take my pic's if they wanted even when right click is disabled??? I had my pic's stolen and used by a Cali girl last year.. It really sucks when people just take our pic's and use them as they wish... Good that you all can get them for TinEye, but possibly bad for us... Good to know the info... Hmmmmmmmmm....

Someone puts in a way to stop people from doing something and next thing you know some others have figured out how to defeat it.
