Sometimes it's just bizarre. I had one provider I tried to set a time with. She was all over the place, here there, etc. I understand people have other things going. And getting two schedules to mesh is tough sometimes. So an appointment didn't work that evening, and the suggestion was the next morning. I didn't hear anything and then ended up, by surprise, with my son that day. She texted, hey when are we meeting, I said I didn't hear back and that could we do another time so we try to set up a time the nexts day. She suggests Eagen incall, I said I have an appointment in St. Louis Park. We agree to meet in St. Louis Park at 3... she sends me a message, I've checked in here's the address... in Eagen. I message and say that's 45 mins from me, etc, but leave my engagement in St. Louis Park and drive to Eagen. I show up and wait 45 minutes, text, email, phone call no response.... Ok fine, I something came up, I guess. So then 5 hours later I get a message, so sorry fell asleep etc., come on by. So I drive down again and spend and I get the "10 minutes". An hour later nothing. No response, nada.
Now I have a young son who has some problems and has been an unexpected obstacle to some appointments unfortunately. It happens. It's one thing to have life get in the way, I'm not trying to be a dick but when that comes up, I have priorities. But to intentionally jerk someone around, that's just kind of BS. I'm not going to out the provider, not someone I usually see, but just kind of disappointing someone's life is sad enough that they have to jerk someone around for their own enjoyment.
