Your engine is made up of hundreds of complex components working together to ensure that your "vehicle" starts and runs properly. Over time, however, these components can wear out, due to lack of use, resulting in a loss of performance.

The technician here at Melissa's Auto Care is trained to work on today’s high tech engines. She is here to help maintain your "vehicle" and extend its life!

What Is A Tune-Up?
The nature of an engine “tune-up” has changed considerably over the years, but the basics of how your engine works has not!  Clogged injectors can decrease performance.  That’s why Melissa will examine all of your parts when you stop in. Melissa recommends that you follow regular maintenance and lubrication of your engine, to help keep things running at maximum efficiency.

It may be time for a “tune-up” if you notice one or more of the conditions below when starting or driving your “vehicle”:

A decrease in mileage or use
A noticeable loss in power
Your engine running “rough”, stalling, or not starting at all!
Your engine starts at odd times or when you do not intend to start it.

Melissa's Engine Services:
Every engine has different needs, depending on past use and driving conditions. That’s why she offers a range of engine services, from simple checks to more involved repairs.

Melissa’s Fixed Right Guarantee
Melissa promises that the services she performs will be fixed right the first time.

Tune Up??? What a grand idea!!!!!………….. and I heard the mechanic is stunning at Melissa’s Auto Care center!! just hope her mother approves ( I guess it is time for another story) !!

Just the other day when I went to check the dip stick, I was just telling bosco and tc guy that I could use a little oiling and a great lube job and they suggested your place!
Does this mean if I limp in with my putter dragging you can wrench the nuts around my old junker and get it standing tall again?  I have always wanted to bring it in for a good waxing and blow dry…but that last waxing experience was rather traumatic L (and I bleed for days) so how about just the blowing?????????
My fenders are rusty and my upholstery is graying but the engine is running and when I reve it up and hit the road I can usually get two good pops out of it yet, but sometimes I need a little coaxing!!!! I am always looking for someplace to park it. Can you help with that? Any wet and warm place will due and I want a tight fit, I don’t want them trying to sneak in anything else while I am there…can you provide that??
I have always been about maintaining my stuff and what a great way to get ready for the cumming months of fall hobbying pleasure. Do you think you will ever have a full body tune-up ? or are you just doing minor manly repairs? This old unit may need multiple times and a regular schedule but I will see how it goes and then you can prescribe….mechanic knows best!!!
So I think I will take that 5 pm time slot and hope that you will have time to do everything you can to put a twinkle in the engine and a sheen on the dipstick….i will be the older model but there is still a lot under the hood …the model is a hornbody but it has a nice raspberry glow so I can’t wait to back it in and have you grab anything you see.

I suppose you might recommend more frequent tune-ups but I think mine needs a major overhaul.  It gets stuck in low gear all the time and sometimes it stalls when trying to go up a hill. Spends a lot of time just parked in the garage these days.

Might take several hours of work.  Do you offer free estimates?

The Classic restoration can be a whole lot of fun!  It is very rewarding to take a very special "vehicle" that needs some TLC and bring it back to its former glory.  There is no doubt that the classic restoration is a very satisfying endeavor...

that is why you should bring it to Melissa's, she is mechanically inclined and has the knowledge, resources, time, and tools to do the job right!

Has anyone ever tell you that you should be a professional writer- or maybe you are?  Your recent posts/ads have been fun to read- being titillating to say the lease.
You have a vivid imagination and I can guess that that's why your reviews are 9 and 10 for performance.  The best providers are those that have a creative heart..
Or maybe you are a caregiver by education and trade?

I hope you don't think I was trying to get personal.  Just in general I have found that the creative types (and you gals know who you are) and the caregivers make for the best experiences in the hobby. It goes way beyond the girl friend experience.  I wish we could come up with an acronym that exemplifies the super-natural sexual liaison.  Maybe is should be BGFE (Beyond the Girl Friend Experience.

...can only think up "rev up your Harley" in an attempt to join in on this auto-shop talk.

Sometimes it's just best to sit back and watch the witty repartee.

I've just had a tuneup but a few dyno pulls show an injector not firing at high RPM under load.  Can you help clean it out?

In the U.S., many “engines” purchase their “fuel” from the least expensive source, sometimes seeking providers who, to save a few pennies, may skimp on important injector care steps.  Using name brand “Fuel” is more reliable; many of these providers use their ‘special’ injector cleaning cocktail in their sales pitches, provide better service and leave a longer lasting impression on your injector.

P.S. We do not recommend cleaning fuel injectors as a do-it-yourself project.

I only use C16 as I like long strokes, high RPM, and high compression.  I very rarely clean my on injector, just not much for the do-it-yourself products, these things are best left to the professionals.  This sounds like your specialty, I will be in touch, literally!
