Thank you to all the Vietnam Vets. Heroes of our nation. Love, hope, & prayers to you & your families.

Thank you very much for your posting. At the time, us Vietnam Vets never got a parade let alone a thank you for your service. I'm a combat vet, and like an lot of Vietnam vets I have mixed emotions about my service. Today's Iraq and Afghanistan vets have one big advantage - they are respected for their service. We seldom were. The Wall, when it went up and today serves as a way to bring us all home. I don't think I really ever did. Thanks again.

They not only honored the soldiers returning from the Middle East but had a special section for Vietnam Vets.  I know it doesn't make up for the crap the soldiers returning from Vietnam had to face but those veterans got the loudest cheers that day.

Yes, to honor the Vietnam vets.  Whatever one thinks of the war, it's a national disgrace as to how the vets were treated at the time.

Here's to you, men and women!  Thanks for your service.
