This isn't Vegas

And I wouldn't assume that the way they do things in Vegas is exactly how they do them here.  I've never been to Vegas but from what I have heard that escorting, etc. is more tolerated there.

One of the things I learned from the long time veterans was that there used to be a number of brick and mortar locations that offered erotic massage and more and that local LE drove them out of business some years ago.  If people are trying to bring something like them back and cover themselves by advertising under therapeutic massage then good luck to them but they strike me as the sort of easy targets LE usually prefers.  I have read a number of stories over the years of the police raiding static incalls such as these.  I see no reason to make it easier for LE to bust a place by discussing in a forum open to anyone with an internet connection what might be available at such a brick and mortar location.

Regardless of where the ad is, its not appropriate.  Craigslist, Backpage, etc have categories of ads for all sorts of things.  These are general electronic classified ad sites that happen to also have an adult services section.  Therapeutic Massage is not one of them.  Should be considered no different than hair styling, tanning salons, or legal services.

Does this just apply to the MN market?  Because, in places like Vegas that's where ALL the pay for play AMP's advertise is in therapeutic.

Even here I would say there is nothing wrong with asking the question.  Maybe the responses should be kept back channel, but I know from my experience percentagewise I've done way better in therapeutic for some fun then the teases or DIY crap that's found in bodyrubs.

Obviously, the source of the problem is the erotic massage providers who are advertising in the therapeutic section.  The question I have is by making open 411 requests here are we making it more likely that guys will go in to purely therapeutic places looking for more?  I would hope that if the 411 gets a clear 'no, nothing else is available' response then not but what if it is not clear or no answer is given?

The source of the problem is purely in your head.  AMP's and jack shacks with brick and mortar addresses aren't going to advertise nude massage and such.  Also, from the Chinese girls I've known personally they're massage first and most wouldn't consider themselves a "provider" either.

Go look at Vegas CL or BP massage and tell me how many of those joints are legit.

Being a vegas resident, most AMP's on cl and bp are strictly therapeutic, tease or B&S from what hobbyists say.
They're heavy on regulations in nevada . The worst amp's are near the strip. Chances are better with the out call or independent massuses.
This isn't vegas and here anyone can buy an ad saying they do massage even if they have zero training without being bothered.

This is hilarious!  I'm not sure what "hobbyists" you're talking to, but either they're lying or perhaps you are to protect the "indy's".  It's quite the opposite.  The outcall girls are typically bait and switch, get to your hotel and try to get 500+ from you in upsell or potentially worse.  When it comes to "anyone" getting an ad, Vegas BP & CL would take the cake.  California markets I've been to don't even come close.

About the only thing you said that has a KERNEL of truth is the AMPS near the strip typically suck.  I've never had a true problem with them other then the fact the girls are older, may try a large upsell just to get a HJ, but they haven't been outright ripoffs.  Any AMP hobbyist knows when in vegas it's best to get a car and hit the suburban offerings.  (The name slips my mind, but Carol Brady might know the name.)

That's always the biggest drag about coming back home from a trip.  The barren wasteland of the Twin Cities littered with B&S, grannies and tease joints.  So much for the good old days of Lake or Selby.

Hey what's wrong grannies!?
If you're getting ripped off from an outcall amp, then you didn't research good enough because I personally know several Asian and non Asian massuses that don't dupe Clients . I wanna know who calls the truck and card slapper ads and expects something good will happen if you're old school you could look in the phone book but that's suicide.
I worked out there too for years. Many gentlemen thought I was gonna rip them off even with steady reviews & I offered incall only. So I've heard every horror story there is.
On CL 90% of the ads are the same company advertising over and over again with a different lady. That buries all the good ads.
BP is mostly bottom feeders amongst a few well reviewed ones that also post way way too many ads.
If I was a  hobbyist in LV, id stick with indy ladies or the two excellent lv agencies that post on this site or a similar one just beause I don't wanna scroll through a million ads all the live long day.
The problem in mpls is they don't regulate it enough and. looks as though people got outta bed and decided they'll do massage, no training, no regard for anything but a quick buck and that means more bait n switch DIY and just plain awful massages .
The other problem is a hobbyist or regular person can't tell who's who because both areas are saturated with ads, you've got places like sun*** where you'd think it might be Erotic but nope! They go to that other site pissing and moaning because clients think theres a chance of HE based on their appearance and wrote reviews  .
Then there's the UTR's (I will not mention) that advertise on therapeutic like myself who do hold certifications but like the fun side just as much if not more (well at least I do.
I don't think its a bad thing for someone to ask about anyone advertising here either but I do think they shouldn't be reviewed .

East lake was a good area too, ahh the good ol days where neither client or masseuse had to guess or play games other than occasional hide the salami.
If someone thinks its a good idea to try and recreate the sauna days, they'd be setting off a horrible chain of events that would ruin an already difficult market . Warren Ohio's plan comes to mind...

Thanks for both the good laugh I had at the misinformation you provided in your post and I'd like to thank you for bringing back a host of good memories as I was perusing a few of the ads in BP & CL for Vegas.

And thanks to both the Jennifers and the Lulu for providing me those memories! :)
