This one just ripped me off! Stole the donation and my Samsung tablet while I was in the shower. This was after I had made dinner for her. I had seen her three times before and would never have guessed that she was a thief. So much for my belief that I'm a good judge of character. I am totally humbled and humiliated. I think it may be time for me to quit the hobby. I feel like a foolish old man.

While that sucks I don't think you need to quit, I think you just need to reevaluate who you are spending your time with. Try moving away from BP girls with few to no reviews, check the ad board here and I think you will have better luck.

So sorry to hear that, bud.....thanks for the heads-up, and let's hope every guy on the board takes note!

It's not just in the hobby where people read others wrong. It happens all the time, and if she hid herself well in the three times before, it's not your fault for not seeing it.

Don't lose your trust: you will probably get responses from a dozen providers telling you what a horrible business decision that girl just made, and you're right to warn the rest of us.

You'll be more careful in the future. Good luck.

Strange she would do that to a repeat customer, but I guess there are some people you just can't trust. Too bad we usually find that out after we have been hurt.

No reason to quit the hobby. Most of us are foolish old men. Go back and see Bridget again, she will make you feel all better!

You can also pm me for more suggestions.

Hang in there!!!!

I'm so grateful that you gave me a "chance" when I had very few reviews!! Its sad that any of these girls you see and help out go this low but some people just see the moment they are in instead of down the road.

Actually there are many ladies that care about their customers. (ladies here anyway)

I am saddened this happened to you. I don't know you but trust Bridget's judgement. Sounds to me like that young lady blew a terrific relationship. I hope you'll reconsider abandoning the hobby.

Safe wishes,

..... but they have to be reported to TER first.

I know some people would rather throw their hands up in the air and whine about how unfair life is than take action. A big "THANKS" to the guys who made the effort to report those 170 rip-offs so others might not suffer the same fate they did.

Nicely said LeAnn! I agree about the ladies that regularly use TER!

Something a fellow provider said before is "you get what you pay for" & it is soooooo true guys! Try & get a really cheap deal... and it backfires 99% of the time!

Personally, I ALWAYS treat others the way I'd want to be treated! Having this philosophy in this world is very crucial I feel. Yet, too many times, the people around us in the Real World are only concerned about themselves!! Which sucks!! I tend to want to believe EVERY body is good... which has personally gotten me burned sooo many times!! But, I don't care. I don't wanna see how truly corrupt the world is... so I keep my eyes closed to it... and always try to only surround my self with positive people & positive light!! :) What Would Jesus Do!! Praise God Hallelujah it's Sunday! I hope everyone has an awesome day!!

....... and I thought you might appreciate this one.

FWIW... I feel your pain. I've had problem reports I sent to TER rejected too. But when I kept trying on some of those, they finally saw my POV. A few never got approved. But many others were accepted w/o any problems. I've found if I give them hard, documented facts, they almost always accept my report.

I want to take this opportunity to inform everyone that this problem has been resolved. I got in touch with Chase and she returned my property and apologized for what happened. I have forgiven her. It's nice to know that I was'nt wrong about her. She made a mistake and took responsibility for herself. I think what she did was admirable. It's not an easy thing to do. Take it for what it's worth but I will continue to see her if possible.

Except that was no mistake. It was a deliberate, planned theft. I hope your decision doesn't come back to haunt you. I can't help but be concerned what her REAL motive is.

Good luck!

mis·take
məˈstāk/
noun
noun: mistake; plural noun: mistakes

    1.  an action or judgment that is misguided or wrong.  .....

So..... you don't think this woman's action was misguided, or wrong? IMO the act described was both. And the victim decided to forgive her. His life, his choice.

I don't know if I could forgive this woman under similar circumstances. But I don't know her, and I wasn't there.

BTW... forgiveness doesn't mean acceptance of the act, or forgetting what happened.

Well pardon me for not referring to the almighty book of "unquestionable" dictation of definitions. Yes! He has the right to handle this situation however he sees fit. Accordingly, readers have the "right" to come to their own conclusions & concerns & express them.

I bet ya think this is the first time she has ever pulled such a stunt too don'tcha? Well, it is possible but I have doubts about that. This is likely the 1st time she got publicly outed & returned to clean up her mess. Her only "mistake" (IMO) was she played the wrong guy. (finally) Or did she?

And what about a revised review? Don't you think it's fair to gents to be warned that she is a potential risk? At the very least they will know NEVER to invite them to their home & not to bring anything more of value than the advertised donation.

..... for offering MY opinion, which is different from yours. But you did say readers have the right to come to their own conclusions and express them, yes? So I guess I have the right to come to my own conclusions, and express them.

I'd bet this is NOT the first time she has done this kind of thing. But I really don't know. What I know is what the OP has told us, and that based on what he knows he's forgiven her. Time will tell if that was a wise decision. But I think it was a kind and generous thing to do.

I recently saw TV show that was a true story about a serial killer who tortured, raped, and killed a young girl.... and did the same to several other victims. (One girl, he chopped into pieces and put into his freezer at home.) The young girl's mother was instrumental in tracking down the killer and getting the goods on him. Before his trial, he hanged himself. The mother publicly forgave the killer and reached out to his mother and befriended her. They helped each other deal with their losses. For example, the girl's mother goes with the killer's mother to visit his grave. The girl's mother said that forgiving the killer helped her deal with her loss.

So no, I'm not going to tell someone they made a mistake in forgiving someone who wronged them. And I bet he knows there's risks in continuing to see this woman. That's something he needs to decide for himself, and accept what comes from it.

As for a revised review etc..... recall that I encouraged the OP to not only publish a revised review, but submit it to "Rip-Offs" as a caution to others. And recall how  that suggestion was ridiculed.

Most likely she is engaging in damage control because she got called out in public for it.  I'd like to be wrong but it is nothing I would invest any of my time or money in finding out.
