for what it's : I am sorry that any man has to hear something like that.  Ladies have the absolute rite to see or not any one for any reason.  It just seems hurtful... I don't know; as a nation we need to work through this.

Personal preferences?

Unless a provider makes derogatory or stereotypical comments about a particular race or group of people, I do not see a problem pointing out personal preferences in whom she is spending time with.

Nor do I.  no person person professional or otherwise should very have there personal freedom to associate with anyone they want limited in any way.  I did say something to that effect, I am sorry if I was not clear.  Because this ?? involves intimance any woman has an absolute irrefutable rite to say no, at any time.  paid or not no exceptions. ever, ever...

I am European white, I can not imagain what it would feel like to classified and different or less because of my skin color. That is all I was saying.  For what it is worth I feel the same way about gay/lesbian, haveing some tell me that I am less worthy or what ever because I love someone.  I don't get that either.

AND sense I am in this deep I feel the same way about the ladies who for what ever reason have chosen this profession.  You choose to give so much more of yourself than any other profession.  You help your customers, you heal a human need.  people need to be touched and treated with affection.  if they don't have that in their lives they/we can come to you.

SHE WALKED UP TO ME SO GRACEFULLY AND TOOK MY CROWN OF THORNS
COME IN SHE SAID I'LL GIVE SHELTER FROM THE STORM"   dylan

you ladies are shelter from the storm.  those of us who understand that thank you.

I think another line from the Dylan song sort of describes the whole path of this thread:

"When blackness was a virtue, and the road was full of mud"

and back to Ziggy Stardust

Because the hobby involves intimate contact, ladies are entitled to exercise personal preferences.  There are, however, gracious and respectful ways of doing it and disrespectful ways of doing it.

It's sad, however, that black men seem to get singled out.  I'm surprised we don't see, "No obese men" or "No one over 60" or "No men with dirty fingernails."

"All like all type of men, no matter weight nor size,
Or your race just call M3 if noone else is insuring u a good time!!! No texting no Black male!!! Thanks"

How can you say you like all men no matter race .... and then exclude a race?! Some ladies ads just don't make sense for me - and this is when I wonder if they may be written by men lol. The men behind these women are not the brightest in the box, just conniving enough to convince a woman that they need a man to succeed. Not saying this girl in particular has a pimp, but pimps will also tell girls to not see black men for multiple reasons. If I were a hobbyist I'd be checking twice on reviews and pics before seeing anyone on BP who can't get their race statement straight.

Once I went independent I was able to make my own race statement, and I don't discriminate! I do however, require the same amount of screening that everyone goes through to see me.

I like men of all sizes, shapes, races, heights etc but I still have my personal preference.   The lady writing the ad made no racial slurs or derogatory comments.  Would gentlemen prefer knowing her preference BEFORE wasting time on her or AFTER showing up at her incall?

If a man preferred a young, slender, blond I would sure wanna know that before he scheduled a date with me.

As I know we all do, and it is good for her to state them. But she could at least keep her story consistent and on the same track. I'm all for up front disclosure but the way the ad is written is silly and somewhat suspicious IMO

How an ad is written, and its content, can indeed have a lot of implied meaning. The style, grammar and syntax alone would turn me away.

We all do indeed have a right to completely arbitrary, personal preferences in the company we keep. Certain preferences though, are unacceptable if stated in negative terms in polite society. For example, the "no black men" is unacceptable. I would not see this individual for that reason alone. I would advise to turn the negative into a positive and say something like "prefer European or Asian men." Still racist, but at least as polite and positive as possible. I still wouldn't see anyone who stated racist preferences in an ad, subtle or not. However, a positive phrasing like that is not so vulgar.

In my own personal travels, I have found that we are never so equally human as when we are between the sheets, literal or metaphorical. Red, yellow, black, or white, we all feel equally wonderful!

I am just saying that poorly written ads may be a sign of something else and guys should check into the ads further. Someone below me even said "can someone with fake pics really have a preference?" ---- didn't check myself, but proves the point that guys should be doing their research. "and this is when I wonder if they may be written by men lol." --- I wonder. I did not accuse or say HEY DON"T SEE THIS LADY! Isn't this a place to voice opinions?

And I didn't name every stereotype I could think of, I could go on and on, but I don't support stereotypes I only voiced my opinion about a poorly constructed ADVERTISEMENT such as the one listed. I also said "Not saying this girl in particular has a pimp, but pimps will also tell girls to not see black men for multiple reasons. If I were a hobbyist I'd be checking twice on reviews and pics before seeing anyone on BP who can't get their race statement straight. "

If I were a hobbyist I'd be checking every BP provider before seeing them! Do they have reviews? Real pics? etc! Don't you condone this? Others have suggested it as well.

I have worked for a pimp........ (when I first got started) so I think I can voice my opinion because I have that experience with how pimps work. This is one trick that mine used - always said "NO BLACKS!" and I changed that as soon as I left them because I enjoy company of any race. I AM NOT SAYING EVERY GIRL WHO HAS A RACE PREFERENCE HAS A PIMP, I thought that was clear in my original post, but sorry if it wasn't! You can have a race preference but she could have been smarter about how she worded it, IMO!

Can we move on now??

It's a poorly written and contradictory ad, something BP is full of.  To try and read much into it is a waste of time IMHO and certainly not worth getting bothered over.  As far as providers who won' see black men (or other classification, you do see those sometimes), best they say so up front so no one wastes their time trying to contact the provider.

It could be copy & pasted from another providers ad. That's happened toe & what they forgot to do was take out my info .
So, maybe that's it.

Did you consider that "No black men" is the new way to say "I'm not LE"?  No sting could have that in their ad because it would be profiling.

LE can do quite a few unsavory things to get arrests.  But I don't think it is LE either as they want people to call and discouraging a certain group from calling is not in their interests.

My point, exactly.  I am saying that to say "No Black Men" could be saying that it IS NOT LE.  Your post seems to be hinting that I meant the opposite.

I haven't seen mnborn respond, but it's my opinion that he wasn't posting this to start yet another long discussion on race. I think he was pointing out the funny side of 'I like em all, nor matter the race', but then followed up with no black men. To me he was pointing out how some people don't proof read their posts. It's like saying I love all seasons, but winter sucks....

I love all seasons but winter does suck (sometimes!)   LOL

Bell, I just looked her up and she does suck! And she's pretty hot!  LOL

Smilin you are correct.  It struck me as funny, but this board at times lacks a sense of humor.

I hear ya mnborn. With what this board is here for, you would think people would be a little more happy and carefree. But at least Minnesota has one of the busiest and most spirited boards. You can't say we're boring. LO

Maybe if people on here made the call and had some much needed fun....

I follow the discussions here but only comment when the conversation is intellectually  interesting.  Respectful discussion should not offend anyone.  "Discussion Boards" seems to be a good place for that.  I would caution anyone who dares... you will end up feeling like the scare crow with the flying monkeys circling above.  some people are overly sensitive.  discussing sensitive topics in a format like this is a good thing.  we can only learn when we talk to each other.  all of us free people have the ability to engage when we want to and skip on to the next topic when we don't.  Peace
